Faecal calprotectin 809 ug/g but normal bloods and past colonoscopy/ MRI normal
Hello Not sure if anyone can help, but I recently did aFaecal
calprotectin
test
which came back at 809 ug/g. However all my bloods were normal including CRP. I also had a colonoscopy, MRI and capsule endoscopy in 2021 and all came back normal.

Starting investigations... advice going forward?
Hi all, GP has referred me to a specialist and ordered some tests to investigate ongoing bowel issues I'm having. I'm hoping to get some advice to help me be more confident/focused and not miss asking for/giving important information going forward. For context, I'm an 'always busy' 39yo mum and shift

Help interpreting results
I’ve also had some symptoms of ulcerative colitis including an elevated
calprotectin
test
but still waiting to see gastroenterology about this. It runs in my family but symptoms currently under control.

Any idea what is going on?
After the results of my capsule endoscopy my consultant wanted to do another repeat stool sample
test
. I received a letter stating that the
calprotectin
levels in my stool sample were negative for inflammation.

How long for prednisolone to take effect?
Hi everyone, I've had colitis for around 8 years at this point. I've had quite a few flares - one particularly severe one that required hospitalisation. But I guess each flare is a new beast. I'm currently nearing 3 months into this flare. It got worse and worse and last check my calprotectin

Anyone on W&W with CLL have sudden acute diarrhea?
I have CLL/SLL, and am on watch & wait. I have had a sudden bout of acute diarrhea lasting about 2-1/2 weeks. Things are better, but I do not feel entirely better/great. Blood work was normal. Stool culture did not show bacteria, but did show an elevated fecal calprotectin. I did not see report, so not

FIT and Feacal Calprotectin
Hi. Hoping someone can ease my nerves as I feel sick and cannot sleep due to worry. I am a 30 year old female with 3 children aged 9, 6 and 1. I did a FIT test due to seeing blood on the tissue when I wiped a couple of weeks ago. I don’t poo very often (once or twice a week). And tmi but my poo was

help!!! Kind of in limbo with a diagnosis!
Also just to note I have stomach issues that aren’t currently diagnosed I’ve just been told it’s IBS but I’ve had a positive fecal occult blood and weak positive
calprotectin
test
. My stool is always loose with undigested food and it’s very greasy and smelly. Sometimes leaves grease in the toilet.

Pressure in rectum
Hi. I was diagnosed with UC 21 years ago when I was 19. For the most part I have been ok, with a few bad flares over the years treated with steroids. Lately I have been flaring more, bloods always fine, never any blood in my stools, but always have mucus and low left sided pain. Last 2 calprotectin

Positive FIT 400
The doctor ordered a
calprotectin
and FIT
test
together with bloods. My bloods all came back normal and the calprotecin has returned normal, ruling out IBD my doctor has said. But my FIT test is positive at 400.

Gastroenterologist Consultation
I'm also going to have more blood tests, another FIT
test
& another
Calprotectin
test
. He suggested that I try foam anal plugs, but wouldn't refer me to a continence clinic, and I forgot to ask him to ask the GP to prescribe them (I would have done if I'd known how much they cost!)

Hi All.. I'm 24 years old and I have been diagnosed with IBS after a colonoscopy in 2021. Lately been having a change in symptoms so visited the doc again. I was away on holiday but came back to 2 voicemail from my surgery regarding booking an appointment to discuss my FIT test results. I'm really worried

Calprotectin at 146 and panicking
Hey everybody. I’ve been experiencing constant abdominal discomfort for 10 weeks now. I wouldn’t say it’s pain but it’s definitely annoying, like my intestines are sore. It’s mostly lower abdomen but can be upper too. Sometimes food makes it better, sometimes worse. It happened to me 3 years ago
