New here. My story.
I will supplement with daily
calcium
, magnesium and D3. I am reading and learning and checking behind my doctors’ advice and information, which has been amazingly little.

Review after 4weeks OFF bisoprolol
I see this is a
calcium
channel blocker, and I have no idea how this works yet! By the way, I feel tons better off bisoprolol. 🥰

You kindly recommended getting
calcium
, Vit D, coeliac, and pernicious anaemia tested. Can we do these ourselves privately ? Do medicheks do them and which tests should we choose? We’ve also pushed for EDS to be looked at again but the GP seemed reluctant to help.

Strong Finger Nails
Since January 2019 I have been eating a plain organic yogurt every day to combat
calcium
deterioration. Have recently noticed that my nails are stronger than they have ever been. Just hope my bones are too. Wondering if anyone else has noticed the same improvement??

Vitamin K
that D3 ensures the absorption of

calcium
to the bones and prevents it from depositing where it shouldn’t eg arteries, organs and joints.

Calcium content of dairy sourced calcium from casein protein shakes
I have some casein protein shake powder that claims it has 623mg of
calcium
per serving. I'm thinking I can pretty well cover my
calcium
needs with one morning, and one evening shake. Does anyone have any thoughts on this approach? Effectiveness? What percentage of this is actually absorbed?

My

Symptomatic Messing Up 1 NDT dose?
Last night was the Super Bowl here in the U.S. and I although I stopped eating 2 hours prior to taking my dose, we did have a lot of cheese (
calcium
). I have been SO symptomatic today...mood swings, tired, foggy, etc. It feels like I did not take my dose at all last night.

Low resting HR on Bisoprolol
I’ve read a bit about bradycardia and often this happens on beta blockers and
calcium
channel blockers, I don’t feel particularly unwell when in NSR with such a low HR but it is significantly lower than my old pre-meds resting HR of 65 BPM. Should I be concerned?

Rheumy does not believe vitamin K is useful
I grilled him about all sorts if things including should I take Vitamin K with my
calcium
. He said there is no evidence to suggest that it has any use as there have been no "blind clinical trials".
