Someone recently asked me about taking Urso after my transplant and the return of the disease for me. I can't find the post but I wanted to answer. I have taken Urso since I was 35 years old. I am now 73. I have had no real problems with it all these years luckily. About 25% of those who have a liver

deranged LFT and Gallbladder perforation
hi, hoping someone may have experience like mine. I had a perforated gallbladder whilst in hospital with Sepsis back in November. Because of my weight and existing issue the team didn’t want to operate as keyhole wasn’t an option so would have involved open surgery. So I was put on antibiotics for 6

Gluten free diet
I have been on a Gluten Free diet for more then 10 years. Recently I have had abdominal pain, flatulence, and reflux after food. I found out you can buy a Coeliac kit from the chemist, but not sure about it. I feel I should go to the GP but have been in hospital in the past and the DR there said I had

Hi everyone, I just joined this group today. I wanted to get some things off my chest. I deal with panic attacks and panic disorder. I haven’t had a panic attack since I started my Lexpro a few months back until last week on Friday. I can’t really understand why my brain is the way it is lol. One of

IBS and wind
I have had IBS for years and I am really suffering at the moment not only with the unpredictability of BMs but also terrible bloating and wind. It seems to be worse as soon as I go out shopping or to social events. I wonder if anxiety is partly to blame. I keep a food diary and am really careful

Sertraline nausea and burping
My long standing bowel problems have finally become too much for me and 2 weeks ago I was put onto Sertraline to help with the anxiety and depression. Two of the side effects are nausea and burping. Has anyone experience of this and do they have any tips for coping with it?

Good Morning Monday People
Good morning all, I haven't posted in a while since getting my ESA and starting EMDR. I've experienced a lot of improvement and have adjusted well to the Citalopram which leaves me feeling more alive than the Sertraline I was on. I've been feeling contemplative lately about motivation. What are some

post cholecystectomy issues
I had my gallbladder out (gallstones) 10 years ago and for the first 5 or so years I had no problems whatsoever, life returned to normal. Then I started getting these weird night time vomiting events. Always seemed to be woken between 2 and 3am with a heavy pressure in my stomach/gut, not feeling nauseas

surviving the rat race.
I moved cities recently to peruse my art career. Which was a bold step for me. I don’t really like change. Although I was excited about the possibility of finally living my dream and having opportunities in this town I didn’t have before. I could reinvent myself. Live the life I’ve always wanted. Well

iron results
I’d appreciate some feedback on my iron panel results please? I know my ferritin is too low, even if it’s above the bottom of the range. I upped how much black pudding, pate, or liver I’m eating at 5 out of 7 days a week for over a couple of months. Is my iron too decent enough to be able to take

B12 Deficiency
I have Peripheral Neuropathy and am being treated for B12 deficiency. Having just completed an 8 week course of tablets I am awaiting results of a blood test. My symptoms of tingling feet have eased very slightly...they are not so angry. Does anyone know how long it takes for B12 to take full effect?

Fissure or fistula
For the last few weeks I have been getting stabbing pains up the rear exit. Like I sat on a needle!! I used to suffer a lot with piles but not bled for about a year now. But today after large bm I bled! What concerns me is I should be having a camera look at my bladder on Saturday under local anaesthetic

Reaching out to others with anxiety
I've lived with panic attacks and extreme anxiety since I was 18. They began when I left home to go to college. I've had decades of engaging in therapy, 12-step support groups and Recovery groups . The possibility of getting Covid has made me afraid to go to my 12-step groups in person. Being on-line
