what is ibs?
Hi! new here and didn’t actually know this forum was about until I started googling on the nhs site. So my question is what is ibs? I want to explain what I’m experiencing and if someone can tell me if it’s completely normal for ibs to be like this I would be really grateful. This time last year

ATM gene mutation
I just received results from genetic testing that I have a ATM gene mutation. I am currently not on any meds and my last PSMA pet scan was negation. I am scheduled for a follow up PSA test mid march based on rising PSA after 5 years undetectable. Based on the ATM finding will this change any future therapy

Is my Endo back?
Hi Everyone, Looking for some advice or anyone who's been through a similar experience. I had Endo 3 years ago some of my main symptoms where bowel issues bloating, gassy, stomach cramps and diarrhea whenever I ate to much. Initially the doctor put it down to IBS. Obviously that wasn't the case and it

Been having problems due to Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. Whilst it’s improved a little bit in the last few days I’m finding that trapped gas first thing when waking is an issue. I was looking at Simethicone and whether that or Deflatine would help me. I’ve got afib and on regular medication (flec and bisoprolol

High dose Turmeric and links to low ferritin
My ferritin has dropped from 82ug/L (30-150) 4 months ago to 64ug/L (30-264) this week (both Medichecks- Inuvi lab). Not about PCa but interesting: GLP-1 Receptor Agonists help with colorectal cancer
"A research letter recently published in JAMA Oncology has provided some promising insights into the potential of Glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) in lowering the risk of colorectal cancer (CRC) among patients with type 2 diabetes. Almost ready for phase 1: JHU083 (or JHU-083) a selective glutamine metabolism blocker
"The drug, JHU083, is a type of molecule called a prodrug that cells inside the body convert into an active drug. Specifically, JHU083 can only be turned into its active, glutamine-blocking form inside the tumor, preventing it from causing harmful side effects elsewhere in the body. " We all know that

psoas Muscle Tumors
my OVCA metastasized to my Psoas muscle 6 years after preliminary OVCA diagnosis. Various chemo and immunotherapy are helping keep it contained. Has anyone had surgery for removal of a psoas tumor? I’d love to hear from you. Thank you.
