Hi, I had both sides of the
bunions
corrected last year. I have also been constantly wearing insoles for my fallen arches (pre and post bunion surgeries) for nearly 30 years now.

Has anyone tried supporting their big toe joint when it is painful?
Saw something that goes round the toe and joint for
bunions
on the Boots website, but rheumy said I'd probably be wasting my money, but it wouldn't do any harm, so I didn't buy it.

Tailors Bunion
Hi Does anyone suffer with
bunions
? Is it a common feature of RA? I have a tailors bunion, it came on during week 3 of lockdown when the only time i wore shoes was to walk the dog (walking boots always) and to shop. It is now becoming extremely painful............... Trudy :)

Maybe the
bunions
meant that they didn't exert pressure in the right places. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyway.....they are now on EBay, if anyone is interested!

UPDATED....OFF the COUCH...MARCH WEEK 1...🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇 Come and play footsie with me?
Shoes that are too narrow in the forefoot can lead to pinched-nerve pain, corns, calluses or
bunions
. And shoes that are too wide will allow your feet to slide around, causing friction that can lead to blisters. Socks No matter how well your running shoes fit, socks can make a big difference, also.

Starting questions. What is happening with me?
I did have
bunions
on both feet removed at the age of 18, which means I can wear shoes better now, but still get sore days and some pain 6 years later. Within the last 5 years, I have been diagnosed with IBS after constant nausea and diarrhoea.

Woohoo back to 30 minutes running
After trying most of the shops structured shoes on to see which one worked with my wide flat feet and
bunions
we decided on the Asics Gel Kayano and a proper pair of blister reducing running socks.

Out of action/on the IC
He says I have a highly mobile forefoot but an immobile big toe on each foot which is partially responsible for the forming
bunions
but what this also does is makes the rest of the toes work harder.

new cure for circulation problems fresh from america
it will help you improve your circulation no end and may prove most efficacious in removing hard skin, callouses and corns, some people say it helps
bunions
and verruca and removes fungal growth. The great benefit of this process is that there is no waste.

Trying out new shoes !
I’ve got some zero-drop Altra paradigms - I have
bunions
and so the wide toe-box really appealed to me. I’ve had them for a week and have gone on some fairly lengthy walks with the dog and they are the comfiest things ever.

Any suggestions for women’s running shoes suitable for
bunions
? I now have New balance which are really comfy but the outside edge of my big toes & the bottom of my feet between my big toes & the balls of my feet feel sore after running. I have problems with my everyday shoes & trainers as well.

Changing from methotrexate and prednisone to methotrexate and hydrochloroquine - is this a positive change?
Rarely have any other symptoms unless I eat dairy, then I have mild aches and pains, especially in tailors
bunions
, where I have erosions). I am disappointed, as I have been following a great diet of mostly green tea, fruit, vegetables, salmon and sardines.

New shoes!
The bad news is, because of my
bunions
and generally wide feet, I had to buy flipping men’s running shoes! 😱 I feel like a freak! 🥺 Mind you, they were only £90, compared with the £120 pair I first tried. That meant I was able to splash out on a Shock Absorber over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder! 🤣

Here goes...!
I’ll get the excuses over with-I’m almost 63, have arthritic knees, asthma and
bunions
! So, not a lot going for me, but I’m going to give this my best shot. Over the past 2 years I’ve successfully lost, and kept off about 25kgs with the help of my son who’s a PT.

Help
At about 10 she developed
bunions
on both feed and required insoles and special wide fit shoes The doctor said the
bunions
were due to the tight calf muscles. Her joints - shoulders, knees and back sublux about twice a week now.
