I bought a new pair of Restiffic foot wraps on the internet and used them a couple of times (I live in the UK). Unfortunately I didn't realise that moderate bunions would make them extremely uncomfortable, so my sleep was affected by this discomfort - as well as RLS! I'm not sure whether they would have worked or not. I found that my legs didn't jerk, but I still experienced the strange creepy sensation that precedes the jerking. Maybe the bunions meant that they didn't exert pressure in the right places. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyway.....they are now on EBay, if anyone is interested!

Sorry to hear the foot wraps didn't suit you.
The last time I sold something on EBay, I made a loss!
I also found them uncomfortable and of no benefit. I returned the pair I bought for a full refund. There may have been a 30 day limit. Worth checking out for something so over priced.
Thanks. I was aware of this, but as I bought them direct from the States (I'm in the UK) and had to pay import duty on them I wasn't sure it was worth the hassle. They do help some people - I guess we are amongst the unlucky ones. Since joining this site I'm aware that there isn't a 'one size fits all' cure/relief/preventer for restless legs. What works for one, doesn't for another. I'm relatively lucky in that I can relieve them once they have kicked off (literally!) but struggle to find anything that prevents the manifestations starting in the first place. I keep trying! The important thing seems to be not to let the condition get one down too much - although easier said than done sometimes.
