Sliding down this bumpy hill
I would be interested to hear how others are managing the loss of some mental capacities while using up to 120 mg slow acting morphine, 60 mg of quick-acting morphine, 225 mg Lyrica, and a whole bunch of

daily.

Last night I nearly went to A&E as the pain was so bad, despite taking cocodamol 30/500,
brufen
and my prescribed medication. How do I push for a laparoscopy??

Knee pain / W2R2
Since my last post, iv hobbled around wincing every other step, used combination of heat/ice/
brufen
gel and taken a fair few painkillers! I spent some time with my feet elevated yesterday and have only moved little and often to avoid seizing up. This morning I can walk again!

Been a member for a while but only just found this forum.
I just thought I had a stiff back and treated it as such with hot baths, heat packs and
brufen
. That was roughly 1986/87? Moving on, relatively pain free to about 1998 when I got a nice flat up one flight of stairs. Something in my lower back kept popping out.

Pericarditis Pain
I have been given colochine. 5 days in and still no relief along with paracetamol and
brufen
. Anyone else experiencing this? How long did it take to improve? It is so debilitating and feel it’s stopping my road to recovery.

Dire
At my wit's end with no energy, leg and other pain, dreadful gastric reflux because I took
brufen
to try and reduce leg pain. Have MF and hoped for say 5 years of enjoyable life but all I think about is when I can take next lot of pain killers, which are only modestly effective. Dire.

Normal lfts
I originally thought that was because of the
brufen
but now it seems as though it is my liver when I connect the dots.

De-lurking!
Went to GP who prescribed amitryptylline for the arm, and lansoprazole (made me ill) for the gastritis/indigestion, presumably caused by
Brufen
which hadn't helped, neither had paracetamol or voltarol gel.

I quizzed the nurse over and over and she just said it was cheaper and it was like buying a branded
brufen
and going to the supermarket and buying there's.

Got a
Brufen
and on the road. I am so happy also because I lost 5 kgs in 8 weeks. 5 more kgs to go and 4.5 months to the Dubai Marathon which I am now sure I wont be able to run so I will continue my training to finish the 10 km one. Now, I am just looking forward to get my graduation badge.

Steroid injections or treatment assessment?
A year ago my rheumatologist added daily
Brufen
Retard to help with the tendon pain mainly. This was good but now doesn't seem to make much real difference.

week 6.... but looks like its all over for me :(
i stopped running with immediate effect - didnt even attempt W6R3 - I'm 'resting' and taking
brufen
to keep down any swelling.. I've self diagnosed one of three things .... 1/ overdone it and just need to 'rest' and maybe re-think the running!..

PSA treatment
Although my rheumatologist didnt give me a formal diagnosis he changed my treatment slightly adding 1600 mg if
Brufen
Retard plus omeprazole daily and this has made a big difference to my ligament, tendon and sacroiliac pain.

Pain relief
Does any one take
Brufen
to get rid of calf/ leg/ in fact any pain the day after a run. My aches seem to occur two days later rather than the day after. Or should I not take anything and wait for the aches to disappear before running again. Thanks every one

Anti inflammatories
Does anyone have recommendations of anti inflammatories which won't rot your guts? I benefit from ibuprofen but am expecting the gastroenterologists to tell me to stop it. They won't allow methotrexate either which is quite a loss. I'd quite like to go to my appointment next Monday with a list of possible
