How long does it really take to recover
I am taking
brufen
twice a day to help this and general stiffness. It’s Definately not PMR as first in the morning I am okay if I forget to take
brufen
by 12 midday by the evening I am very stiff but
brufen
addresses this. I know that we are told that pred masks OA etc.

Post head injury pain relief
After many, many years of taking
brufen
and co-codamol they aren't as effective as they used to be and neither are they that good for you.

Ladies, contraception and ET JAK2
Paracetamol wouldn’t touch it and I can’t take
Brufen
anyway due to having IBS. So now I have a diagnosis of ET, I’m on 75mg aspirin which, as you’ll all be aware makes bleeding even worse and can’t be taken with
Brufen
.

Hi, I used to take
brufen
/ naproxen for when my joints played up. Now I have been put on Apixaban I clearly have to stop taking these. So what do people take instead ?

Ibuprofen with Prednisolone?
I seem to remember reading on here that some members mentioned that they sometimes take a one off, larger than normal dose of
brufen
with a meal to try and knock inflammation pain on the head.

Anti inflammatories and Corvid
The exact post said "We have just been sent a medical alert that no one is to use anti inflammatories (eg I
brufen
, Voltarol, naproxen and there are others) for pain or high temperature. Use paracetamol instead.

Brufen is helping
I started taking
brufen
a couple of times a day and this is really helping. I had had bursitis in my hips earlier this year and
brufen
helped then. I wondered if the pain I have is actually the PMR or another side effect of the condition as has happened previously.

Tapering prednisolone but need boost
Taking
brufen
, paracetamol, the odd g & t. 🍸 not all in the same glass I should say but even so it doesn’t help enough. Got some volterol gel somewhere. Will dig it out.

Not the norm RA symptoms, is anyone else experiencing the same?
I am unable to take
brufen
etc as it affects my blood pressure. Codeine based meds makes me nauseous. Unfortunately it seems each increase in amitryptiline dose lasts only so long and then I'm struggling again.

What do you guys use for medium pain relief?
It's been mentioned that I should avoid paracetamol as it annoys the liver and
brufen
as it annoys the stomach. So what's left? Doc have me a short prescription of Dihydrocodeine and the other suggestion was tramadol. I chose the former as tramadol scares me. They both do for addiction etc.

New symptom liver itch
Not long after my 4 month binge I had a bad toothache, during this time I took well over the recommend limit for paracetamol and
brufen
, this continued for about 20 days. I can't believe I was so stupid.

When having Bursitis is a relief
Have been taking
brufen
3 times a day and I am a new woman!!! I am keen to see if a reduction to zero prednisone confirms my theory that what I thought was PMR threatening to flare was bursitis all the long. If this is true what would be a safe reduction plan to get from 3 mgs to 0.

Sliding down this bumpy hill
I would be interested to hear how others are managing the loss of some mental capacities while using up to 120 mg slow acting morphine, 60 mg of quick-acting morphine, 225 mg Lyrica, and a whole bunch of
Brufen
daily.

Last night I nearly went to A&E as the pain was so bad, despite taking cocodamol 30/500,
brufen
and my prescribed medication. How do I push for a laparoscopy??
