Brewers Yeast

I have gluten probs and have been reading a book by Marc Ryan How to Heal Hashimotos which is something else I have.

He recommends taking brewers yeast please can anyone tell me if this would contain gluten

Yeast itself is gluten free, but sometimes has wheat added as a binding agent, so you do have to check the label. Also be very mindful of cross contamination!

I've had a lot of success in managing my Hashimotos with Izabella Wentz's Hashimotos Protocol, if you'd like further reading. She does say around 75% with Hashimotos have a gluten issue, but a high proportion also have problems with dairy and soya, which you should also be mindful of.
