Info on likelihood of lung damage from ribociclib after permanent lung damage from Ibrance
My onc is having my cancer cells tested to see if they are still E +, and suggested fulvestrant plus ribociclib if theyare. I was on Ibrance, another CDK blocker, for a few cycles in 2016 and developed Interstitial Lung Disease, which my pulmonologist described as being like "gunk between the air pockets

Anyone heard from Kearnan
Hi all - I search Kearnan's name here frequently but haven't seen anything new for a month. I keep thinking of her and wondering how she is doing. Has anyone heard? On a different topic, I have a rough couple of weeks coming up.....CT scan Wednesday, fulvestrant injection Thursday, MRI Friday, bone

Do natural supplements work to reduce high cholesterol?
While strictly not a PMR issue I know there are a few whose cholesterol has risen markedly since being diagnosed. I am one of them. I have always had high-ish cholesterol but my last fasting blood test showed everything else perfectly normal but my cholesterol was up. I haven't seen the results

Dear All, My initial MBC diagnosis was in 2016 with one metastatic spot on the top of the left femur bone near the hip. Treatment was very light with a daily letrozole pill and a monthly Lupron injection. The spot melted away in one year and remained NED on annual scans for five years. I was working

More cancerous nodes…swollen arm
I’m wondering if anyone has had this problem. A couple of months ago my PET scan showed activity in multiple lymph nodes in my arm pit and neck area. At the same time my arm had begun to swell. My oncologist changed my regiment to Xeloda wanting to stop these cancerous nodes. In addition I had multiple

ILC: Double Mastectomy positive margins complete breast tissue removed
My wife was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma in April. HR/PR positive (95%) Ki67-12%, HER2 1+ Negative. Oncotype test indicated or confirmed IV chemo would not be effect based of her ILC composition. Due to the size of the tumors she was put on Ibrance and Letrozole to help shrink the tumors

ELEVATED LABS AFTER SURGERY
I was diagnosed with MBC in the liver in March of 2019 and have been on Faslodex only since that time with stable scans and lab work. I fell 10/1 and fractured my femur near the hip. On 10/2 I had a partial left hip replacement. I missed my October oncology appointment and Faslodex shots. I saw the doctor

No Blood Markers…
I have been diagnosed with non-metastatic Breast Cancer 3 times since 2005 (2 rounds of radiation + tamoxifen and then a bilateral mastectomy in 2016). My final Stage 4 diagnosis came in 2022 with mets in spine, Lungs & lymph nodes. I was surprised at the diagnosis since I have had regular blood tests

newly diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
Hi all, I was diagnosed with metastatic breastcancer a few months ago. Becsuse of my age, 75, the doctors here did not think I needed chemo. I was happy , because I saw my mother go through that and it was really awful. The cancer is also in my lymphnodes and I just got the news that it has spread

Hi Diagnosed in March 2022 - partial mastectomy and 33 doses/days radiation now on Letrozole. Anyone with similar diagnosis and treatment have any advice on supplements or what to expect? Reading some posts where Letrozole "stopped working". Any information is helpful. Thanks so much and God bless

Lobular progression to stomach and colon
Hi everyone! I hope my post finds everyone well. I have a question, and I'm hoping some answers might give me a little bit of piece of mind. For all of you who have lobular breast cancer that has progressed to the stomach and/or colon, what meds were you on before the progression, and more importantly
