Feeling scared
Hi everyone. I’m feeling kinda crappy today. I was on ibrance and fulvestrant for almost a year and a half. I had to switch after progression to Everolimus and Exemestane. It’s been almost 2 months and my tumor markers have continued to rise. I saw the oncologist today who was in agreement that

Radiotherapy
Next week I go for radiotherapy for a lumpectomy. I have 5 days of it, being fair skinned I am worried about the 'sunburn' effect that it will probably have on me, as I stay out of the sun due to burning. Not to mention, the feeling sick! Any suggestions please?

What type of Breast Cancer were You Diagnosed with?
Hello everyone, I am a Breast Cancer Patient Support Manager at SHARE, and a two time cancer survivor myself. I had breast and colon cancer. I am wondering, what type of breast cancer do you have? Is it TNBC, DCIS, ILC, IDC, Inflammatory Breast Cancer, Lobular or something else?

Soreness
Hello I have been on Letrozole for a year next month and I had a zometa infusion and radiation. But my question is its it normal for my under arm and scar tissue and my Breast to get sore. Also where the lymphnodes were removed. And does doing house work adjatate that area. I'm so confused

I might have breast cancer...waiting on biopsy results
Hi all,Back in December, I turned the big 4-0. I immediately scheduled for my first routine mammogram. Didn't think anything of it so I pushed it out until April 1st. My results popped up in MyChart as a category 0 and would need a diagnostic mammogram along with a ultrasound. Fast forward 2 weeks later

uptake increase one spot only
In the PET SCAN world, I’m curious, what happens when one spot shows an increase in avid/activity, but everything else shows stability or even decreases? My scans have been stable and favorable this past year (praise Jesus) after starting letrozole/ibrance 16 mos ago for bone only, lobular, ER+. I have

Hi. I have msb which is in my bones and small spots on my liver (PIK3CA mutation). I'm searching Xeloda and reading past stories from members here. When Ibrance, Fulvestrant, Xgeva stopped working after 6 mos. of treatment, next were 6 weekly (3 on / 1 off) treatments of Taxol 150 mg which I learned

What role should a Primary Care Provider have for MPN patients?
What role should a primary care provider provide for patients with MPN's? Obviously a PCP would address other health conditions that arise, but to what extent should a PCP be involved in tracking MPN patient symptoms or blood counts? My MPN specialist orders monthly lab work to track my counts, prescribes

Well, Carboplatin was a disaster - it did nothing at all so I have effectively had 8 weeks of no treatment and my cancer went crazy. I understand that sounds super negative but that's how I feel right now. So, having a scan to prove the cancer spread matches the blood work (for example my CA15 was in

Hi All I was diagnosed with OC in Oct 2021 and told I was BRCA in Feb 2022. I had a mammogram and ultrasound a year ago and an MRI 6 months ago but no mammagram or ultrasound has been booked for me going forward, only MRI once per year. Does Herceptin cause Pulmonary Hypertension
I’m new to this site and have found it to be very helpful. I was diagnosed with MBC in 2015 and was treated mostly with Herceptin and Perjeta which was very successful. However I began to experience shortness of breath and in 2019 was diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. A lung specialist
