DBS, having MRI to determine if placement is correct
I had DBS 3 years ago. It is helping alot but still am on a roller coaster of off and on every two hours. The doc thinks I may not have the right placement of the ekectrodes in the brain. She is recommending an MRI to determine that. Then possibly another surgery to correct. Says that most people

Post DBS Surgery
It has now been five months since my DBS surgery. My brain is healing, the proof of which is that I am again reducing my meds. It is a balancing act - I increase what the Medtronic device is providing and decrease meds. My meds at this time are 1 extended release 25/100 sinemet and 1/4 regular relelase

Hypochrondia
Hi everyone, It has been awhile since I have been here. Lately my anxiety has been functional but mentally distressing. I am so fearful that I have a brain tumor. Some stupid little symptoms that I get daily keep me feeling stressed and fearful. Of course if stuff gets worse I need to go to a doctor.

Is there always a headache when you have meningitis?
Hi I’m from Russia so sorry for my English. I think I might have meningitis, but doctors disregard my suspicions. I have pain in back of my neck and subfebrile fewer (37.4). I feel very extraordinarily unwell. But I don’t have a headache except neckpain. Is headache always there with meningitis or not

Headaches following meningitis.
Hi my son Joe had pneumococcal meningitis and septacaemia at the age of 9 months. He thankfully survived but suffered brain damage to do with coordinating movement down one side. He went on to be the first child at nursery to ride a bike at the age of 3 without stabilisers! He is now 12 and doing great

So since about November 2015 I've been having strange symptoms they started as weird confusion spells and then slowly became a huge increase in eyefloaters really bad fatigue and worsening confusion spells. Lately I've been feeling all around my face and behind my ears and i feel tiny lumps I'm worried

What cocktail of medication are you on for your Anxiety
I seem to think I am on too many meds but, my Pdoc says I must stay on them. I suffer from anxiety. I am on Epilim (low dose) Cipralex 15mg, Fluanxol for anxiety 1mg, and Xanor 0.5mg SR morning and night. Am I on too many or just enough?

Streptococcal meningitis
Hi, I had Streptococcal meningitis when I was 16, I am now 26 and wondering will this affect me my ability to get pregnant and if I get pregnant will be okay? I read that 25% of women have this bacteria in their bodies anyway so I can assume I still do. Has anyone had Streptococcal meningitis not while
