Cardiologist
After five months of regular episodes of very irregular heartbeat &
bradycardia
where my heart rate drops as low as 35 bpm. I finally got to see a cardiologist today at RUH Bath. He was brilliant & helped me understand a lot of what is happening.

Heart failure and possible chd
Hi I am Jane, 64 years old and have been told I have sinus
bradycardia
and left ventricular dysfunction. I am having a nuclear perfusion stress test on 11th July 2017 and a resting test on 13th July to check for CHD. I had the same stress test done 7 years ago and my coronary arteries were clear.

can anti depression pills make slower hear rate ?
Can it be
bradycardia
? I noticed it just for first time.. or is it normal that after longer rest the heart can beat more slowly ?

Need to know how slow or fast rhymes can effect you
The patient rhythm included 6 hr 59 min 33 sec of
bradycardia
. Slowest at 3 am Day 2, lasting 3 min 35 sec. The patient's rhythm included 7 hr 31 min 58 sec of tachycardia. Fastest at 9 pm Day 1. Supraventicular ectopic activity consisting of 14 beats of which 14 were late beats.

Pacemaker for AF and possible sick sinus syndrome
Very long story but the gist is that when I saw the cardiologist a few weeks ago after being on a 48 hour monitor, he told me I now had
bradycardia
and sick sinus syndrome probably caused by the Bisoprolol. I am now scheduled to have a pacemaker fitted.

Always get checked out..
I went yesterday and my
bradycardia
(slow heart rate) needs to be further monitored because I had an episode of 35 bpm on my last halter monitor. I now have to do the 4 week monitor to make sure...worst case scenario I may have to get a pacemaker...at 41 years old!!!

Atrial Tachycardia has taken over
I then had Ectopic beats at
Bradycardia
rate interspersed with bouts of NSR lasting long enough to get my hopes up only to be dashed each time. On the instructions of my cardiology rhythm nurse I got an ECG done at my GP surgery.

Success
I am 57, clinically obese and have acute
bradycardia
. My pulse is normally between 35-40 and goes down to 29 when I'm asleep so I was advised to take it very slowly - hence the pace.

Levothyroxine is the treatment of choice for hypothyroidism
(Note that the NHS Consultant Endocrinologist has had to be attended privately as the NI NHS waiting list was so lengthy and I realised I was seriously ill, thankfully now stabilised on a T4/T3 combination and extremely challenging symptoms including
bradycardia
have reversed!)

4 wks after cardioversion
Bradycardia
( 46bpm) after exercise with no other symptoms. After cv my bp was low for a week and the diastolic remains low at c65.
Bradycardia
now seems permanent around 40bpm with no symptoms. Ectopics have vanished. Back at the gym with no ill effects.

My body and its weird electrics
So... 6 weeks ago I started having LOADS of ectopics and more
bradycardia
. BUT I have barely had any atrial tachyarrythmias during this time which is great but unusual for me as I have been debilitated by these at some point every day for the last 4 years.

Should I be chasing for answers?
The diagnosis given was Tachycardia -
Bradycardia
. On 28th March I had an echo-cardiogram & was fitted with a 7 day monitor. I am still waiting for results but in the meantime I am having regular events which make me feel very unwell.

Cardioversion yesterday
As previously posted I had asymptomatic atrial flutter and
bradycardia
for 6 months and 3 years respectively. Following the CV I emerged without flutter but with
bradycardia
. 46 BPM. Previously
bradycardia
only occurred some hours after exercise.

Abalation or not ?
I am on bisoprolol 2.5 mg which results in sinus
bradycardia
(42-55 bpm) which my cardiologist says is fine. I also take 5mg Apixaban 2 daily.

Pacemaker for 93 year old!
The results came back with long PR interval 304 milliseconds and first degree heart block with
bradycardia
at 26 beats sometimes during the day. Mum was on Cinacalcet at the time of the monitor and I read that it can cause irregular heartbeats and
bradycardia
.

Some Progress
If not, I will head to emergency and insist on a treatment plan to be put into effect within a reasonable period of time to deal permanently with the
bradycardia
and the Afib.
