Experience with elderly loved one and pacemaker
(She has the pacemaker due to
bradycardia
and syncope). Her heart would go as low as 35 beats a minute before the pacemaker and she was passing out.

Any advice would be welcome resting heart rate 38bpm
When I was in hospital last year for 11 days they monitored me every day and said I had
bradycardia
but back then it never went any lower than 48bpm. Should I be concerned or am I overthinking this?

Reducing Bisoprolol and swollen ankles
I have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and have had pacemaker 25 years for ventricular
bradycardia
due to thickening of left ventricle. Do you think the reduction is causing the swelling? I feel so much better overall with the reduction. Many thanks

Pace Maker for Bradycardia with AF
I am told the pauses are
Bradycardia
, lasting up to 4 seconds and causing the faintness. My cardiologist has suggested putting in permanent pacing to overcome the
Bradycardia
. I will still have AF which I have reduced to two episodes in 30 days from 18 episodes in 30 days.

Bradycardia - Slow Pulse Rate.
I’m new here. In 2018 I had a biopsy for Prostate Cancer and was subsequently told I had localised cancer. Phew? Had Radiotherapy in Feb 2019 and am now recovering from the treatment. During this the medics noticed my pulse rate was quite low 40/50’s. I was referred to Cardiology and having had an overnight

Fatigue 9 months later
Feeling really rough last year this time and eventually pacemaker fitted September due to
Bradycardia
and sick sinus. Have made considerable progress but would still like to be more fit to do gym and swimming as I used to. Currently swimming x 2 weekly but sluggish most times.

High BP and bradycardia
Wonder if anyone has anything similar? Diagnosed with Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy in Jan 2018 on bisoprolol, Ramipril and aspirin. Since Jan this year I have a decreasing tolerance for exercise; used to exercise 6-10 hrs a week now can only manage 5 on a very good week and can only exercise after I've had

What’s worse. Bradycardia or AF?
These timings are rough so please bear with me. About 3 weeks ago I started Amiodarone. One week later I'm back in Sinus after almost nine months of being in persistent AF. I ended up in hospital twice as I felt really ill; fatigued, light headed, slightly sick etc. My heart rate was between 46 & 51bpm

Not sure what’s wrong
This time they said it looked like ‘unstable angina ‘ my troponin level had raised to 2 which is nothing but still more than before, I was admitted to coronary care unit where I had regular ecg’s, echocardiogram which showed slight mitral valve and tricuspid valve regurgitation and sinus
bradycardia
.

Bisoprolol Dose (Why so High?)
All things being considered, I am feeling very good, and coping easily with the new
Bradycardia
heart rate of 45 bpm. (Years ago it was 70 bpm). Before I discuss a reduction to 1.25 with my doctor, I wonder if anyone knows why cardiologists push for the highest rate of Bisoprolol tolerated.

Bradycardia, sleep apnea and now AFib
I'm curious if anyone has the same condition/experience: I had (have)
bradycardia
all my life going back to when I was 20 years old with a low heart rate usually between 52-56.

Sotalol causing bradycardia
It has been lowering my bpm as low as 28: and often in the 30-40 ranges, especially at nights, then I go into A Fib. Sitting rate in the 40 bpm range I started taking half the dose and don’t group as low. Either way, full or half dose, I’m in AFIB 2 days out of 4. Taking Sotalol for a year. I believe
