Links between hypothyroid, Levo and breast cancer
I've had breast discomfort for a couple of weeks after decades of no trouble. I have been on Levo for about 8 weeks. I have frightened myself tonight by reading up on this and finding so much on the internet that links being hypo or hyper and/or taking Levo could be linked to increased rate of breast

From 1984 to 1987, I worked full time for my farmer father who was a no-till corn producer. My duties included mixing the various herbicides for the sprays used to suppress weeds and grass in the corn fields. I also operated a tractor drawn herbicide sprayer. And I used a backpack sprayer to use herbicide

Frustrated
Hi there everyone. I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. I had surgery and 6 months of chemo. Now that I am done I would like a pet scan to show that the cancer is truly gone. I have had a ct scan but I know they don't light up where there might still be cancer. The doctor says I don't need one

Just looking for advice and knowledge, Im new to this site and worrying about future cancer.
So i am 33 and just has my biopsy results back. They had found a sessile serrated poylp. I have only ever had 2 colonoscopies in 8 year and both have had multiple polyps. I suffer from proctitis(triggered by pregnancy) and have done on and off for 9 years, more so the last five. I am really worried that

Worried about colon cancer
I am wondering if any of these symptoms are ones that anyone diagnosed with colon cancer had at the beginning: extreme fatigue, 'light' bothersome stomach-bowel ache, no sharp pains or visible signs of blood (fecal occult negative) get very sick and weak after bm's.... I am 'elderly' if that makes a

Celevac & Enterosgel for IBS: anyone have experience of these insoluble nonfermentable bulking agents?
As i understand it, the basic forms of the ingredients in both Celevac & Enterosgel are commercially used as thickening agents/stabilisers. These are both silicone based organic polymers (in food stuffs they have E numbers)...they are used in loads of manufactured products...from paint to puddings.

Lactulose or Movicol?
I know this has been written about before, but which is best for Ibs c? I was put off lactulose before so have never tried it, as it apparently causes bad gas and pain (not sure if it contains lactose too), but now another doctor has suggested trying it. I use laxido (movicol), but not constantly.
