Worried about colon cancer

I am wondering if any of these symptoms are ones that anyone diagnosed with colon cancer had at the beginning: extreme fatigue, 'light' bothersome stomach-bowel ache, no sharp pains or visible signs of blood (fecal occult negative) get very sick and weak after bm's.... I am 'elderly' if that makes a difference... Nothing shows up in routine blood tests. I still worry. Anyway, thank you so much to anyone who takes time to answer about symptoms that are so evasive... (maybe its just all psychological, but I worry because my birth mother died of colon cancer) ... again, thanks.

When I was dx with cancer I already had blood in my stool and I was anemic almost no iron left and Hemoglobin very low too and my bowelmovents changed most of the time it was diareah never a formed stool. I hope you don't have cancer get a colonoscopie! Good luck

I had the pain in my stomach for about a year. I finally got to see a specialist and he did a cat scan which did not show anything. He did a colonoscopy and it showed cancer. I had it removed the end of November and so far have been doing well. I have to go every 3 months for 3 years to be checked and have a colonoscopy every year for 5 years. it is wise to have a colonoscopy. It was a shock when he said it was cancer.
