Phimosis, Ballinihtus cure
Hi everyone just had to post this. I suffered from this for 6 years, no let up, sore and sex impossible . I tried every cream and then had the circumcision but still no better 3 months ago I set on a course to reverse diabetes, I cut out sugar on nearly everything I could just to avoid going onto injections

Coronary artery calcification, osteoporosis and B12 deficiency- what to do next ?
I have just been found to have coronary artery calcification incidentally when having a Lung Healthcare scan. This information was passed to my GP who wants to put me on statins (Atorvastatin 20mg daily). I have no idea of the severity or extent of the calcification, only that it was found. I don't

Leaking heart valve
I've been diagnosed with a leaking heart valve which is now severe.I'm currently awaiting to go into hospital for a new heart valve via open heart surgery. To say I am scared is an understatement. I'm not really sure what to expect.

Anti-Dysrhythmics Making Atrial Tachycardia Worse?
Well, I tried the Norpace and it was a big flop. Not only did it give me daily Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia, it actually seemed to make my Atrial Tachycardia/SVT worse and more frequent, with longer episodes. I made it a whopping week. My EP seems to be getting frustrated with me and I think Rhythmol

Heart bypass update - I made it
Following on from my earlier post about my anxiety of having bypass surgery (and the many fantastic replies, advice and stories) I am happy to say my quadruple bypass went ahead on Thursday and was a complete success. Not going to lie, the first couple of days were tough but no where near as hard as

When is a second ablation advisable?
I was dx with Paroxysmal Afib in 2018. After the usual regimen trials of just Metoprolol, Flecainide, Flecainide with Metoprolol for rate control, etc. I received a Cryoablation on March 16 of last year (2022). I had two afib episodes a month or so after the ablation which was explained as being in

10k training run
Hi folks 🤗 just thought I'd update you on how my training is going. Today I'm up to 6k run I could pinch myself as never thought I'd get to do anything like that again!! Feeling good though wee bit knee trouble now and then. But nothing a pain killer and deep heat can sort. I'm joining a park run group

Mitral valve (moderate)regurgitation and AF.
Has anyone with AF been diagnosed with MVR? What is the treatment, can you still have an ablation or perhaps......this may not be needed if the valve is repaired? To me it does seem pointless having an ablation if the Regurgitation is the cause of AF and this is not addressed first. On the plus side

Heart bypass or stens
Hi all I have been diagnosed with blockages to 3 arteries and the consultant has given me the option of a bypass or stens. Almost a 50:50. I am unsure which to take and was wondering if anyone had been in the same boat and had any advice. Which you chose and why ?

Arrhythmia anxieties pre-cardioversion
Hi everyone, just looking for others' experiences and reassurance. Since having open heart surgery 12 weeks ago to correct a hole in my heart (diagnosed out of the blue at Christmas), I have been in arrhythmia for about 6 weeks. I had 48 hours on a holter monitor and this showed atrial flutter. I was
