LVSD Experience?
Hi. I am currently on Bisoprolol, which appears to have had a positive impact on my lvsd and EF. I am anxious that this progress may relapse or regress, so was wondering if anyone has had experience of what other treatments are tried if medication proves unsuccessful? Many Thanks

Digoxin advice again
Hi all I’ve posted a few times recently about AFib returning after Covid. I’m now on digoxin, 2 x Apixaban, and Bisoprolol 10 daily. Been in this for nearly two weeks. At first all was well, but I am now getting daily bouts of quite fierce AFib which are intermittent for around an hour. I’ll speak to

Afib starts between 1am and 2am
I have been researching the Afib at night posts, and went back and looked at the data on my phone, and i noticed that the 2 episodes from last year and 3 from this year mostly started around 1:45am. The only exception was the BIG episode in march which landed me in hospital, and came home with apixaban

Bisoprolol withdrawal
Hi, I'm Beater, I'm 11 months out from aortic valve replacement and bypass. I was on metoprolol then bisoprolol then I stopped for 5 days as I was very faint. Went back on and the reinstating caused severe symptoms. Family Dr. put me on carvedilol for 1 day and that was worse so then atenlol for 1 day

AF and AMD - effect of anticoagulant
Has anyone else with AF and wet AMD experienced a sub-retinal bleed? I was diagnosed with persistent/permanent AF six months ago at age 75. No physical symptoms other than irregular and raised (just over 100) heartbeat. Taking 1.25mg Bisoprolol and 2x 5mg Apixaban since diagnosis. No other treatment

Numb feeling in toes
I’ve recently started having a numb feeling in my toes. I notice it more at night, in bed, but I think it’s there in the daytime too - just not so conscious of it. Toes are not cold. Could it be a side effect of Bisoprolol? (I take 2:5 in the morning / also Ramipril 5mg, Simvastatin 40 mg, Ranexa 375

Bisoprolol with low heart rate
Hi, I suffer from heart palpitations but don’t get them often but I live in high functioning anxiety because of them. I have been given Bisoprolol to try but didn’t take it because I was managing them but they have gotten bad again and today when I was super relaxed I have had a bad run of palpitations

Pacemaker check today, help please with explanation
I had a pacemaker check, 3 months after initial check after 5 weeks. I was initially given Bisoprolol, which I find difficult to cope with, then 62.5 mg Digoxin as Dr Wanted my heart lower. Then upped to 125 mg after 2 weeks. Over the last week heart rate much lower, at 39, 40,s fifties and consistently

Should I up my medication
Hi all, hope you are all well. My question is since my 2nd ablation I halved my meds so I went from 200 flecainide and 250 bisoprolol a day down to 100 flecainide to 1.25 bisoprolol but I keep getting HHR often and I’m due to go back to work soon so should I keep the bisoprolol at 250 but keep the

Irregular heartbeat after AF episode
Last night my OH had his second AF episode, first one was about 22months ago for which he was hospitalised. Since then he has been on Bisoprolol 1,25mg once daily and Apixaban 5mg twice daily. He was told if he had another episode to take “pill in pocket” once, which is a 5mg dose of Bisoprolol. This

Newly diagnosed SVT
Hi ! New to this forum I am also in the AF forum as they seem to be on similar meds. Just diagnosed with an SVT on fleciainde and Bisoprolol. I am 41 years old. Had this problem for years and finally got the answer. Booked in for an ablation in few months time as my SVT was quite troublesome. It seems

Exhaustion
I hope someone can relate and perhaps help with a worry of mine. My hubby had a quad bypass in November 2018 aged 67. He recovered quickly and life was (and still is) good. Over the past couple of months, he's getting exhausted when he walks a lot or does manual work like gardening. Since the bypass

The blanking period after ablation
I didn't think it was possible to hate AF more than I did before the ablation. Constantly waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get a decent night's sleep. It wasn't always like this but it has been getting worse - probably 5-6 times a week. And then an ablation is offered - light
