Self tester with home kit since December 21. My question is when I test my INR levels can change from one day to

Have a great weekend
So many positive, caring and kind people on here have supported and comforted me over the last few months since my AFib progressed. It was a nightmare - daily 3 hour interuptions to my life, broken sleep, anxiousness.etc. I am lucky in that I am asymptomatic but still it was a concern. I was placed on

Dear all, I thought my story might be of interest to some. 3 yrs ago I collapsed in the gym with some sort of arrhythmia which spontaneously recovered after half an hour. During that episode I never had any chest pain. I was subsequently investigated and by exercise echocardiogram was found to have exercise

Is your Afib regular and in between you are ok?
Does anybody have Afib regularly, say every 14 days but between that time you are ok. My Afib is not a fast heartbeat type. I am just irregular. It’s lasts about 3 days. After a night I can exercise and my heart rate may go occasionally up to 160, it goes back down when I stop. This is the only way I

Low Heart Rate of 32 again
Morning all, I've had another few days of low HR readings again but last night it dropped to 32 at one point. Its been up and down the past 2 weeks with some days feeling very tired and dizzy. Its been 3 weeks since my 3 day holter monitor test and I'm still waiting for the results from my gp and cardiologist

One for the ladies - can you have Botox? ( SVT - not sure if i am AF awaiting investigations)
Hi ! I am hoping to get some Botox done for a friends wedding. Had it done before diagnosis with no issues. Fast forward now on Flecainide and Bisoprolol… will it interact with my meds and could spike my HR … i am not going to get it done if I end up in SVT or with some type of weird flutter …

Anyone having this problem?
I'm taking Lisinopril 20 mg mixed with Hydrochlorothiazide 12 mg, once a day. Also taking 150 mg Pradaxa twice a day and Metoprolol Succinate 50 mg once a day. My leg muscles, on both legs, from knee to thigh feel weak and sore. I was taking Eliquis but stopped that because I thought that may be what

Digoxin again (and again)
Long story but after being on digoxin for just under a fortnight I began to feel ill : violent palpitations, high heart rate, diarrhoea ( frequent) and generally feeling terrible. Consulted gp who told me it was a bug but he’d write to cardiologist and if I didn’t hear anything after ten days to phone

Atrial flutter
I’m taking 50mg of flecainide twice a day and 1.25mg of bisoprolol once a day. Played golf this morning and then prepared to celebrate (no alcohol as I’m teetotal) the jubilee by hosting a bbq for around 10. Never really stopped all day and then took my dose of flec at 4pm and around 5.20pm developed

Some reassurance and advice please
I had a cryoablation at St Thomas August 21 for PAF. I have continued to have reduced incidents. I had a telephone appointment about 6 weeks ago and the doctor asked me to send copies of my AF incidents by email and he would discuss a further ablation with Prof. Gill. Despite a gentle email reminder

Bisoprolol cessation and exercising max heart rate / 1.25mg
Hello there, a quick query to see if anyone else has had similar. I stopped Bisoprolol 1.25mg about 7 weeks ago. First attempt was foolhardy - really based on cardiologist opinion that as I was on the lowest dose anyway - the withdrawal effects would not be much/ if any after even 4 years of use…. it

AF and asthma
Does anyone have experience of Bisoprolol impacting on asthma, suggestions for other suitable medication would be good, however not calcium channel blockers which I've tried and were disastrous

25+ years with persistant AF, now possible AV Node Ablation
I am 52 live in the UK and have had permanent/persistant AF for I don't know how long as I only found out about it 25+ years ago by accident in the gym. I think they call it Lone AFib as historically I have rarely had any troublesome symptoms apart from more recently starting to get a lot more fatigued
