Hi ! I am hoping to get some Botox done for a friends wedding. Had it done before diagnosis with no issues. Fast forward now on Flecainide and Bisoprolol… will it interact with my meds and could spike my HR … i am not going to get it done if I end up in SVT or with some type of weird flutter …

I just sent a text to my granddaughter who is qualified to give Botox. She says there's actual evidence that Botox has been used to treat AF. I asked her if she had evidence and she has WhatsApped it to me. If you have WhatsApp and want to private message me your mobile phone no. I will send the links to you. Jean

Further to Jean's post. My friend is about to be treated with Botox for chronic migraines and dizzyness, with multiple injections over her head. It seems like there are more applications for it than cosmetic, which surprised me.

I had no idea it was used so widely.☺️ Amazing stuff.

Hi Dolly I have Botox done by a qualified doctor and have never had a problem.

Yes, my doctor and one of her partners both have additional qualifications in cosmetology (they are GPs) and even have a section of of their rooms devoted to beauty procedures. They employ a beautician who does facials etc., but only my doctor and her partner will do any Botox and Fillers. I have had some done without any problems at all. I had Dermapen treatment, and I thought it might bleed because of the Xarelto I take, but it didn't - must go again, it's fun !

Has been used for urinary incontinence too I believe. Prob better than teflon which preceded it and always made me think of frying pans, ouch!!

remember to go in for it at least 2 weeks prior to the event as it may take that long for the botox to settle in & once in a great while they end up bruising you due to their injections so you dont want to be black & blue for the wedding!!

Does this sound like AF? I already have SVT diagnosed recently.

AF. If I have it again I'll get an ECG for a proper diagnosis - do SVT and AF go together sometimes
