Medications can give these side effects and even if they are not listed it does not mean it could not be the cause it means no one has reported as a side effect
If it be the meds or not you should not be getting blurred vision so I would make an appointment with your Doctor and let them check you over it maybe that the meds need changing bit I would see what they say
I'm on 1.25mg Bisoprolol and it does give me tinnitus which can be bad at times. The worst time is when I am trying to get to sleep. During the day I can generally ignore it, except when I'm stood on top of a mountain trying to enjoy the silence... then it is especially annoying!
With the symptoms you are having, I certainly would speak to your GP with a view to trying a different beta blocker.
Tinnitus is definitely a known side effect of bisoprolol. I was on this medication for a few months and it certainly happened to me. I am now off the med, but the tinnitus has remained, albeit lessened. No issues with the vision.
There are many alternatives for blood pressure medications.
Definitely review the use of beta blockers for that purpose.
Gratitude for sharing your experience...It would ve much helpful..
Stay safe and blessed
Hi, I have been taking bisoprolol 1.25mg. One away for nearly two years. No after effects. I am 77 years female. I am sure you can be prescribed another tablet from your GP. If needs be.If they are the course of your problems. All the best x
Hi. I think that bisoprolol does give you ringing in the ears and also dizzyness as I have both these side effects since I started taking the med in February. I have got an appointment coming up soon with my consultant I shall put the question to him then. I am hoping that he will put me on something else. We shall see. I suppose we should try to accept these side effects as the drug is very good and helping us but it is hard especially as you feel dizzy all the time. Maybe slightly changing the dosage or taking them at a different time of day might help.
Yes. It is good that there are people out there that have the same experiences. My heart complaint resulted in having open heart surgery in 2019 and then because of complications from that surgery i had a stroke in November 2021. I have thankfully recovered from the stroke and that was how I came to have bisoprolol. It makes the heart go slower and that in turn helps the blood from your heart circulate properly and not clot. I also have blood thinners but they do not seem to give me side effects.
