Bisoprolol withdrawal
Wonder if anyone can reassure me. Long story short, Prolonged SVT up a mountain. Two nights in hospital and prescribed 1.25 mg once daily and then increased to twice daily. This was two years ago and I have lived in a fog since then. Poor sleep, brain fog, constant ectopic beats. I decided to come

Do I need an Ablation ?

Bisoprolol, Sotalol and Coronary Artery Disease.
I had a phone consultation with a cardiologist today and it was agreed that I would have a CT angiogram in 4-6 weeks. He considers that there is a “moderate” probability that I have coronary artery disease. In the meanwhile he wants me to switch from Sotalol to Bisoprolol. I am reluctant to do this as

22 years of Bisoprolol
I had a double bypass 21 years ago at the age of 44. I had a stent inserted 4 years later. I have a heart murmur caused by a subaortic membrane for which I have a yearly echo and follow up and have recently been diagnosed with micro vascular angina. I have been on Bisoprolol 2.5mg for 22 years and have

Post covid fast heart rate
I got covid 4 weeks ago after returning a positive test after days of feeling awful. Among all the symptoms, one thing I got was a fast heart rate. I'm on Bisoprolol (1.25mg, a very low dose) as well as lisinopril and lercanidipine (both 20mg). By fast I mean around 75 to 90 while resting with my heart

not happy!
feeling abandoned! Hi everyone! In two days time it will be the third year anniversary of my stent operation. I didn’t have a heart attack. Just shortness of breath and the angiogram (I think) found a “severe” blockage in my LAD. I assumed)dangerous) that I’d be back to normal after the stent. But

Occasional very low BP
This year I’ve had 3 ‘episodes’ of fainting / being sick, due to sudden low BP. I have a blocked artery and have been taking meds since just before the pandemic - Ramipril, Bisoprolol, Simvastatin, aspirin, Ranozoline, Monomil. Today was one of those 3 episodes - fainted / sick mid morning - taken

Hypothyroid with adrenaline surges
Hi All, I have a history of total thyroidectomy (2006) and was on T4 till 2016 and made the transition to T3-only in 2017. While getting on T3-only, I have not been able to take my optimal dosage (75-100 mcg) due to adrenaline surges / anxiety feelings. It took us a while to figure out these are adrenaline
