They are talking about photodynamic therapy, but they have to do a
biopsy
first. I also just had my first CT scan post surgery and now have 3 new nodules in my right lower lobe. Too small to
biopsy
yet.

So, my doctor has scheduled a bone marrow
biopsy
to do further testing. If that too comes back negative, I will be able to go off treatment. I started my diagnosis at stage 4, in Summer of 2021 and immediately began combination therapy of Calquence plus .

FDA Approves 18F-rhPSMA-7.3 to Identify Prostate Cancer in PET Imaging
Hopefully, smarter folks than me can explain the significance of this development. May 30, 2023 18F-rhPSMA-7.3 injection is now available to help identify PSMA-positive lesions during PET imaging for patients with metastatic or recurrent prostate cancer. The FDA has approved 18F-rhPSMA-7.3 injection

Further treatment - Update
I had
biopsy
03.09.07 (Gleason score 3+7) and prostatectomy 10.11.07. PSA started to rise soon after. Since then I have had radiation and been more or less on Zoladex injections the whole time. I started Xtandi in April 2019 and switched to Nubeqa December 2021.

Chemotherapy for pv
Before Christmas it was suggested that I have a bone marrow
biopsy
and have just received the results. Apparently I have 7% leukaemia cells within my bone marrow. The course of treatment they are suggesting is a month in hospital on aggressive chemotherapy.

Good news for me…at least I think so.
I got the results of my Liver
Biopsy
and it revealed mild NASH with stage 1 fibrosis. I was scared of possible cirrhosis because my fibroscan showed S3/F4. So my
biopsy
had better news in my opinion. All I really need to do now is eat healthier and exercise.

When to stop ADT post RT given the situation and moderate hypofractionated RT
I had Gleason 7 (3+4) in January 2020 with PSA never above 5.1 until sudden jump to 8 by October 2021 and opted to try HIFU which failed to reduce PSA and a subsequent
biopsy
showed a Gleason 9 in a different previously biopsied negative cores area.

Percentage of tissue with carsinoma when Gleason 9 and accuracy of normal ct scan
So far we have only PSA-value 40,
biopsy
results and normal ct-scan. Waiting for more bone scans and meeting with doctors will be after that.

Mistrust of Hysterscopy procedure
I have heard so many horrible things, like perforating the bowel, hemorrhage, and if the mass I have is contained cancer that the
biopsy
could pierce the mass and therefore spread it?! These are valid fears to me, as I now have quite a mistrust of the NHS over the past few years.

Lymphedema after mastectomy & sentinel node biopsy
Hello,I was wondering if anyone has experienced lymphedema in their arm 1 year + after a sentinel node
biopsy
. I had a hysterectomy procedure yesterday and they told me I can't have IV's, blood draws or blood pressure checks in my right arm because they removed lymph nodes.

Rising PSA
Is a
biopsy
now the right thing to do? Or, alternately, do some scans first, perhaps try a course of Cipro in case it’s bacterial prostatitis, … etc? How else can he test for something other than PCa before proceeding with
biopsy
? What other steps would you suggest?
