Care for Tinnitus
When I first got tinnitus with severe hyperacusis twenty one years ago I was in quite a state for a considerable length of time. Many people reading this post will be able to relate to this having been in a similar position with their tinnitus at one time or another. My appointment to be seen at ENT

Attempt no. 55 of 2017 to get on track commences!
I've become one of those dreaded yoyo dieting, proclamation making, junk food binning, relapsing, secret eating, self loathing and unhappy beings for whom I once lacked empathy. Ive lost significant weight before through diet and exercise but slipped (hurtled at speed) back to my former state. I havent

Feeling chuffed...
Yesterday I decided to try preparing meals in advance for lunch so I didn't overeat or end up eating something unhealthy to avoid wasting too much time making something. I got these nice tupperware boxes and then made an 'Italian' salad (I improvised)... So there's 50g of brown pasta, parma ham, red

I think I have RLS, but not had it diagnosed as yet. I had very bad accident last September which resulted in me breaking humerus collarbone 8 ribs and punctured lung. I have been on Oxycodone slow release sine September 16 and have been weaning myself off this. Gone from 80mg a day to 10mg a day

Am I doing this right? Thought I would be hungrier and missing out on food.
Not a specific problem, just wondering aloud. When I decided to get healthier I thought I would be hungrier, I thought it would be tougher. I promised I would write down everything that passed my lips, and I've been pretty damn good at keeping that promise. If I can't find an exact match for calories

motivation/lifestyle problems
So I'm new to this, I'm really keen on losing weight as I hate my body shape, can't wear nice things & I won't buy new clothes. Over the past 3 years I've gone from being overweight, to anorexic, to big (very nearly overweight) again. I would like to find a healthy balance that allows me to stay fit

Starting afresh
Hello! After a long time, I've decided it's about time I tried to lose some weight. I've just turned 24, and at 5'3, I am classed as very obese. In the past three years, I've put on so much weight - I was in an horrible relationship and ate a lot as a form of comfort; and even though I'm really happy

Last day of Week 1, quick update and ramblings.
Just thought the last day of my first week on the 12 week plan was as good a time as any to take stock and see how it's going. Long story short, I can do this! With 7 days (nearly) done the calorie counting, at first a chore, has now fallen into routine. I'm logging stuff as I eat it in my tally book

Hoping this to be my last diet ever!
Hi everyone Have been recommended this diet by a friend who is losing weight well on it. Have tried many diets over the years, and eventually put the weight back on. Suffering with knee problems, which am sure will get better with weight loss. Looking forward to getting going.:)

The Art of Cherry Picking a Plate chapter II
Ah, lunch, the midway meal, filling the hole from breakfast and charging you up for the day ahead. Here's what I get: The salad, this gets eaten every day, all pretty fresh, green leaves carrots, cucumber. No dressing, just a squeeze of lemon. There's always some form of beans or pulses in there too.

One sided pulsatile tinnitus: visit to ENT
This may be a double post - thought I'd posted about it yesterday, but it can't find it, so please be gentle with me. I've been aware of rather annoying "whooshing" in my left ear since the beginning of the year. It seems to be in the same rythym as my heart beating, and sounds very like what you hear

Mor Mediterranean Chipolatas - 76 cals for 2!
Tried Mor Mediterranean Chicken Chipolatas (76 calories for 2!) with roasted veg (courgette, red onion, carrots, butternut squash, garlic, red pepper). Whole meal was 371 calories, and 128 of that was olive oil! https://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/… MUCH nicer than Heck Chicken Sausages
