Tall Allen ?
I read in 1 of your previous posts that you were prescribed a sleep aid. If you would be so kind, I’d love to know what it is and whether or not there are any negatives/contraindications to it. Btw, I greatly value your contributions to this forum.

When to take Thyroxine advice please
Hi everyone, I’ve been taking my thyroxine (100/125), with all my morning meds + tiny bit of food, followed by breakfast 60-90 minutes later for 10 years and my endo says this is fine. I can’t say I’ve ever felt the thyroxine’s made any difference, and lately other major health problems have begun

New here so forgive me if I post in the wrong place! I was recently diagnosed with severe osteporosis out of the blue after fracturing my L2 whilst stood at the kitchen sink washing up. Excessive menstrual bleeding
Hi, I'm new here after discovering I had a tight stenosis of my LAD artery last month. A big shock at 46. I had a stent inserted on 26/10/21 and am now on aspirin for life and Clopidogrel for 6 months. My last period was awful - on day 2, I leaked through super plus tampons and a sanitary towel plus

Revealed: many common omega-3 fish oil supplements are ‘rancid’
An interesting article with, ultimately, a pretty unsatisfactory conclusion. If we don't know the level, nor its impact, what can or should we do about it?

Omeprazole
Omeprazole has been added to my prescription - so far I haven't taken it as I'd rather take as few medications as possible. It seems to be recommended with steroids and alendronic acid - is it necessary? I have been encouraged to take AA due to osteopenia but, again, not entirely sure if I need it.

Vagus Nerve Stimulation for PD
We have posted about the Vagus Nerve and PD before. Here is one article on it: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1935861X20301960 So I was going through my Facebook groups to see what I can cut, and noticed my Vagus Nerve group. It made me put up or shut up and ask the simple question

Anyone on or know of anyone on peptide therapy?
My doctor suggested I go on peptide therapy. Generally speaking these are amino acids that need to be self injected much like an insulin shot over a prescribed schedule of roughly 20-30 days. He heard about this at a conference where discussed with regards to PD. FYI, I was diagnosed 15 months ago,

Confused
After having a compressed fracture L2 six weeks ago without a reason I got a Dexa Scan my results are -2.7 thigh and -4.8 spine. My GP prescribed Alendronic Acid tabs and Accrete D3 and Calcium. He then changed his mind on the Accrete because the x-ray I had which discovered the L2 fracture said there

Pain
I have excruciating pain in my left shoulder blade exactly like a gallbladder attack, however my gallbladder was removed 2.5 years ago. My liver aches and since yesterday I've had a stabbing pain in the appendix area. Any ideas why?

Why do you need cholesterol?
This was copied from an email I got so don’t go shooting the messenger if you don’t agree :). “I have been trying for years, decades actually, to raise my cholesterol. Finally after a more significant (call it strict if you like) change in diet, it’s happening and that’s a good thing. You see, low cholesterol
