I have excruciating pain in my left shoulder blade exactly like a gallbladder attack, however my gallbladder was removed 2.5 years ago. My liver aches and since yesterday I've had a stabbing pain in the appendix area. Any ideas why?

If my pain doesn't reduce in the next hour I'm off to A&E, as I've just taken strong pain killers.
I hope they get to the bottom of thing's for you and you are not waiting all night to be seen.x
How are you feeling now? Hope all ok. I have similar issue but my pain comes and goes. Right side back and front as well. Have realised it starts when I drink amd Dec period doesn’t help.
Sorry to hear that sweetheart. A gentleman who lives at the bottom of my road was "blue lighted"to hospital Thursday night and yet the Ambulance was back Friday afternoon ( obviously he was sent home)I don't think people realise how difficult it is to being ill now.
Take care x
My pain is there constantly but the stabbing pain comes and goes. That's when I end up in A&E. I've been 7 times over the last 4 months, twice ending up as an inpatient for prolonged periods. Last night was a 10 hour visit, they gave me string pain killers, then once they had my bloods back which were 'normal' I was sent home.
