Help Please: Blood test results for my Ma... speaking to a Dr tomorrow, Wednesday...many thanks for your help.
Hello Folks, My Ma takes levo. She was started on it at the beginning of this year, on the minimal dose. She is also now experiencing serious hair loss which is very upsetting to her, though nobody seems to be too bothered at the new surgery. Our surgery closed down in March. All our Dr's have disappeared

GOING FOR GRAVES DISEASE BLOOD TEST
Hi. Thank you for looking at my question. What are the best conditions for going for a blood test. Dr is testing TSH, FT3, FT4. This is a monthly blood test so I don’t want to mess this up and my carbimazole dose will be based on this blood test for the next month . I intend to do a morning fasting

Spoke to GP on phone. Told her I'm bringing "beware of Biotin" papers round to Surgery!
I just want to say that I had a long chat with GP. She won't allow me to have any more HRT unless I have scans. I cancelled the last scan as I refuse to have an exam. I don't mind paying for the scans, as long as I continue getting the HRT. The trouble is she lies about everything, like the cost, & the

45 mins conversation with dr. Jeanmonod regarding FUS
Hi all! I just spoke with dr. J about my situation. In my case he said the PD looks very easy (after 4 years) and he recommended an evaluation exam to determine if I really need a FUS surgery at this time. He said I'm at the border line. The cost of that it will be 2000 CF which will be subtracted from

Would anyone comment on the supplement I’m about to re-start please
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated I’m now re-introducing supplements after many weeks without them and my metavive. I’ve included a photo of my current brand but it goes only half way down the list, the rest I’ll write. What I wanted to know was, is it an appropriate one? Many of you recommend

Medical Merry -Go round. Now it's a Meningioma
I was just given the news that I have a rather large Meningeoma in my frontal lobe measuring 2.3 cm x 2.4 cm and naturally I am trying to keep my wits about me as I am just now recovering from a PE and just started on NOAC's (Blood thinners) which gave me a non stop headache and a subsequent MRI turned

Low temperature?
Does anyone have secondary hypothyroidism with a low body temperature? Mine is usually 35-36c and I'm wondering how common that is. I'm not diagnosed yet, and my low TSH and lowish ft4 might possibly be due to biotin before test.

Are these trials still going on? I had read somewhere that they ended. I found a compounding pharmacy in United States that can get 100 mg capsules of pharmaceutical grade biotin. So one would have to take only three a day to match the dose in the study. I’ve just ordered some.

DBS — What questions to ask the DBS neurosurgeon?
I have an appointment with the DBS neurosurgeon next week for evaluation before the surgery, should I decide. I’ve already had the brain MRI and the Neuropsych evaluation. I’m 70 yrs old, female, 86 lbs, and diagnosed 6 1/2 yrs ago. I’m on C/L only, one tablet, 3 times daily. I’ve tried other meds

Anyone want to be my Pulsatile Tinnitus buddy . feel so alone in this.
Hi guys ,my name is lyn ,im 61 and have undiagnosed PT for around 6 weeks now. I know its pulsatile because it is in time and rhythm with my heart beat , its in my left ear only . My doctor sent me for a MRI of my ears and brain stem to rule out an acoustic neuroma which is a type of brain tumour
