biotin supplements
Hi all! My hair is thinning again , I think due to hrt I’ve changed and I remembered seeing many of you are taking biotin for hair loss. Can anyone advise me as to what dosage and make has worked for you? Looking on Amazon , there’s a wide array of strengths and prices …. It’s very confusing! Thank you

stopping vitamins before tests
hi everyone, I can’t remember if I have to stop my vitamin b12 and D before doing my medichecks test - the one that tests for t3, t4, tsh, folate, b12, D, ferritin and inflammation. I’m taking the vitamins in spray form now so no biotin - is there any other reason I have to stop before testing? Thanks

Because of neuropathy I self inject B12 every other day and have done ever since diagnosis of hypothyroidism over a year ago, whatever blood tests I have had. Should

Hi, I'm doing a Regenerus cortisol saliva test tomorrow. All ready and prepared, I stopped biotin supplements a week ago, etc. However, when I did the last cortisol saliva test I was not taking NDT.
Do I take my NDT morning dose before the 8am saliva test or after? (I usually take it around

Hi Could do with some advice regarding my thyroid test levels. I have Hashimoto's but am not taking thyroid medication due to my TSH levels not being high enough yet. having bloods taken for Thyroid
I have my appointment at 8.40am for my bloods , is it best to take my thyroxine after my blood test. Or should I take it in the night. I have stopped my Biotin and Vitamin b complex for a couple of weeks. I only have this blood test annually so I want the best test results.

TSH higher after stopping Biotin
After decades of telling my doctor that I have all the symptoms of hypothyroidism and being told everything was normal as TSH was between 2.8 and 4 [0.38 - 5.33], I discovered a few weeks back that the Biotin supplement that I have been taking for all of that time could have been interferring with the

How much reduction in dose to lower TSH to please the specialist???
In July I saw an endocrinologist who found my TSH of 0.025 alarming. He wanted to lower the dose because "Low TSH can cause heart complications." (Eye roll) As many of you pointed out, it's not the TSH that's the problem. Is there sufficient, but not excessive, thyroid hormone to support cellular energy

Hi All, Since early November, things seem to have gone off balance with me. I have been 'parked' on 50mg of Thyroxine, since 2020. I have asked for a rise several times and been refused. Recent surge in symptons are growing in number and affecting me badly now. Lots of muscle and tendon pain all

Hair Loss on Acalabrutinib
Has anyone suffered significant hair loss while taking this drug? Does the hair loss stop at some point in time. Does the hair regrow? This is the one thing the oncologist said wouldn't happen. I have been taking an iron supplement and 5,000 mcg of biotin, information that I read in other posts. My hair
