I'm on
benzodiazepines
and they do not help as much as I need them to. Does anyone else have ideas about what causes this level of anxiety? There are no logical reasons for me to be this fearful or have this anxiety. Will someone talk to me who may have experienced something similar?

Xanax is great but....
I know
Benzodiazepines
are highly addictive, and doctors don't prescribe long term, and some have horrible seizures when they stop taking them. I don't want to get addicted, but these seem to be the main thing that helps when I am feeling particularly panicked.

Natural method panic?
Instead of
Benzodiazepines
for panic attacks...are there non-addictive and more natural ways that can alleviate the extreme panic?

Seeking Advice
My current psychiatrist does not prescribe
benzodiazepines
for anxiety. However, I have been on these in the past by a different doc and have had some success. I am thinking of asking my primary care doctor to prescribe a small dose of klonopin for me. I am terrified of having another attack.

RLS and Disc Herniation
I have tried
benzodiazepines
, opioids, evertthing to treat Parkinson’s and neuropathy. For a long time the best thing worked for me is zoloidem for sleep and plenty of leg exercises.

Taking
benzodiazepines
was the biggest mistake of my life. Now I’m living in a nightmare. I don’t know what to do plus the VA doesn’t have a clue. Is there anyone out there who can kinda relate?

Suffering form anxiety, with a prior history of abusing
benzodiazepines
and opiates can be difficult when you are in need of a quick fix. Not that other medications don't work, but for me it seems they don't work all the time.

How many of us can manage our PMR with pain medications?
It sounds like PMR except if I take some supplements or some
benzodiazepines
or some types of pain medications like Tordal or hydrocodone I can get through the day pretty well except I can't walk very far or exercise or anything like that without increasing the pain far beyond the ability of the medications

Cocenrta & Valium
Hi I have been taken
benzodiazepines
during 25 years the tapering has to be very slow until finally I can stop use them, My question is, when the ADHD Medication makes me agitated, heart beating, I used to increase the amount of Valium like 5mg or 10mg.

Getting off benzodiazepines
It's me again. Forgot something. When I asked re your benzo taper, I just reread and saw the part about gastric symptoms. So much info talks about the connection with gastrointestinal probs and rls, I wonder what your experiences are. This is something I'm trying to deal with more on my own because I

Augmentation, opiates, benzodiazepines
My doc is probably about as keen to let me have opiates or even
benzodiazepines
as offer an alcohol a drink.

I still haven't found what I'm looking for (or what could work for me!)
I spent five years taking antidepressants,
benzodiazepines
, barbiturates, antiepileptic pharmaceuticals… well, a bunch of harsh meds that didn’t do me any good. I have battled with joint and bone pain since I was a toddler, and started to feel very fatigued as a teen.

To the streets
If you are on
benzodiazepines
, they are starting to stop narcs. They are claiming the two are respiratory depressants and dangerous. I have had several Drs disagree on this subject.

Anxiety Management Techniques
I was treated with
benzodiazepines
and SSNRI initially and transitioned completely to non-medication based therapy in 2015. I work with my medical provider but would greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn from the experience of others managing anxiety on a daily basis.
