Add Nubeqa to Orgovyx?
Age 81. I had prostate radiation in 2021, and pelvic node radiation in 2023. PSA was 3.78 in Dec 2023. PSMA PET then showed cancer growing in prostate, shrinking in pelvic node, but spread to an abdominal node. I have started ADT with Orgovyx (relugolix) and want to add an ARI. The urologist wants

Unsure of best option in early prostate cancer diagnosis.
I have had PSA tests annually for 10 years and in Oct 2023 had an elevated 6.42 result. Was referred to a urologist, whom performed a DRE. There was prostate enlargement but no tumor discovered through DRE. After discussing several options, I decided to have a biopsy on Nov 21, 2023. Dec 5, 2023,

BTA and 'T3 does not cross the placenta'
The BTA guidelines on liothyronine state 'T3 does not cross the placenta'. There is some truth in this in that type 3 deiodinase (D3) in placenta converts T3 to T2. However, they fail to point out that D3 also converts T4 to rT3. The transport of T3 and T4 across the placenta is very complex but the

ADT & Mets
Quick question. Let's say that you have Mets and don't know it. You think the PCa is contained because our last Pet-scan 2 months earlier said so. Are we wasting time going onto ADT if that treatment is mainly for contained PCa? Or will the ADT put a lid on the Mets wherever they are in our body?

AlteraAI test
Has anyone tried the AlteraAI test that uses AI to analyze the tumor samples and can predict the risk of developing metastatic disease after radiation for localized tumor with or without ADT. It has just been approved by Medicare. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6UOmj7z8Jw&t=10s&ab_channel=ProstateForumofOrangeCounty
