Hello everyone I was diagnosed with PMR 4 years ago and each time I reduce I get another flare up. I am trying to reduce to zero as advised by my GP. I started at 4mg down to 3 and a half after 2 weeks then down to 3mg. Now my aches and pains have got worse so I have gone back to 4mg again. ESR

How is everyone doing lately with their PBC? For some of us, the temps are cooler - maybe helping with less itching. Do you feel you are still living life as best you can despite any of the symptoms that may occur unexpectedly in your day? We all have PBC so differently, don't we? I hope you all try

Why still low Iron
Hi everyone, Firstly, I wanted to mention that I'm trying my best to remain resilient through this rollercoaster of hormonal fluctuations, but I must admit, I do falter at times. Today, I find myself confined to bed, feeling rather overwhelmed. However, knowing that there are others who can relate keeps

Stage 4
I'm a 77 year old male and after bouncing around in Stage 3b for a couple of years I started to get much lower results of 30 or 33, then my latest is Stage 4 at 26 eGFR. All other renal profile serum results are normal and my urine tests for albumin/creatinine ratio are normal. I've cut out added sugar

Hi all, I hope everyone has had a good weekend. I’m wondering if anybody knows if what appears as a consultation on the NHS app matches what is written on the system the GP’s use? To give some background I had an appointment about a mole like mark on my leg. GP sent me away with steroid cream as

Persistent trace/low level protein in urine
Hi all I've had persistent trace or low level amounts of protein in urine tests since April -checked on 5 occasions at hospital. Sometimes there is also trace amounts of blood or white cells too. Is this something to worry about or just part of the disease? I get cystitis a lot, but doesn't necessarily

NDT-online
Hi everyone, Over the last 4 months, I've been taking Thyroid S, and it works better for me than T4 or T4 + T3. I am not in the UK, so I buy my medication online. Can you please share your experiences with Thyroid S and other brands of NDT? I know that Armour seems to be the best, but I'm not sure if

What should FHS level be in post menopausal women?
Hi I am 61 years old and definitely post menopausal. I have just received a letter following my recent endo appointment and it states that oestrogen levels were negligible and fsh was 19. I just want to check if this is normal. I thought the fsh should have been much higher. Thank you so much
