Two things I'm concerned about & need to chat or at least have others opinions 🤔1st I snore badly hubby getting really upset as I won't discuss with doc, don't think they can help & I admit once I'm asleep I know nothing becoming a big problem, we've started sleeping in separate rooms/ plus arguments

child with dyslexia
My daughter has recently been diagnosed with dyslexic tendencies. She is almost 7yrs old in year 2 of primary school. I had her B12 tested last year due to recurrent mouth ulcers. I’m just concerned that while displaying the characteristics of dyslexia in reading & writing etc she does not experience

Sorry! Where is the thyroid meds list?
Hi there, I didn’t get on with Morningside T3 but get on fine with Thybon Henning. Problem is, I take 2.5mcg doses and splitting this from a 20mcg tablet isn’t easy. Can someone please point me in the direction of the list of different types of T3? I’d like to avoid one with Acacia as didnt get on well

Iron infusion & over symptoms
Hey all,I was wondering if anyone experienced thyroid overmedication symptoms after iron IV? It's day 3 today, I have much better energy, but also feel jittery and hot at times. I assume iron is making the cellular absorption better and increases conversion. I'll probably do another ft4 ft3 test soon

High prolactin and SHBG related to thyroid?
Hello, Ever since my thyroid went wonky my SHBG and Prolactin have been sky high. I tested again recently and they are both still sky high and my last test was March. Did anyone else experience this? I’d have thought after nearly 9 months on levo these would have come down a bit but they’re still

Should I reduce dose slightly? T3/T4 combination therapy
Hello lovely people. I recently had my bloods done and met with my endocrinologist, and wanted to ask your thoughts. I am currently on 87.5mcg Levothyroxine and 25mcg T3 daily. I feel better than I have in a long time, though possibly slightly anxious (difficult to tell though as I am prone to anxiety

Consultation with Prof Walker
So I had a private consultation with Prof Walker last month. I used to take 0.25g ropinorol some time back and went up to 0.5g and felt that I was augmenting so came off it. Managed for some time without medication but over lockdown/menopause the RLS became much worse so I went onto Gapapentin. Although

question about vitamin levels
I’m Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I was wondering When our vitamin levels are at a good level , does that in turn make our thyroid levels mainly our TSH T3 T4 levels to rise when TSH is under range. It just got me thinking as I’m been prescribed folate for 3 months by the doctors & will

How much reduction in dose to lower TSH to please the specialist???
In July I saw an endocrinologist who found my TSH of 0.025 alarming. He wanted to lower the dose because "Low TSH can cause heart complications." (Eye roll) As many of you pointed out, it's not the TSH that's the problem. Is there sufficient, but not excessive, thyroid hormone to support cellular energy

when does your low TSH stop following you around the NHS?
This morning had a long ‘ difference of opinion’ with a consultant of ‘Geriatric falls and syncope’ about my raised HR ( c.95-115) following various BP/HR problems with 3+ years of Long Covid…she had decided it was likely related to my low TSH suggesting I was over medicated for hypothyroidism. All

Just an update on my problems with low heart rate etc........ My long quest to try to discover why for several years now I have been waking up around 5 or 6 o'clock every morning feeling absolutely terrible continues on. Can't figure out what's wrong with me?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with Graves in Feb 23 (though I'm not actually sure as I tested negative for thyroid peroxidase and TRab, feel like my endo just defaulted to Graves as I didn't have any nodules). I've been on carbimazole since and T3/T4 has been good, TSH has generally always been high and bouncing

Natural or Medicated FET?
Hi all Just looking for your experiences on FET’s, and whether you found you had better luck with medicated or non medicated? We have had 2 Non medicated FETs (1 with intrellipids) in 2021/2022 with both ending in early losses. We have frozen eggs and the doctor has suggested next time round
