I have developed eczema to the extent that I now have an itchy rash on large areas of my body. This has happened over the last few days and I have decided I want to have an allergy test as seeking the answer by food elimination is not working.
can anyone recommend a self test before I approach my GP? I’m ok to pay but I do need to use something as accurate as possible - I would prefer NHS because in this situation I reckon it’s probably more valid.

Thank you for your response- it helps to be aware of what is happening to other people. I have definitely had a small improvement of my IBSC recently which coincides with the eczema starting. Had the new RSV vax the other day and now heading for the latest covid and flu ones. Goodness … maybe I should start to have a rethink.
I’ve had the flu jab for 2 years in a row but I’m swerving it this one, I’m not in an at risk category so as with the Covid jabs I can’t rule this out as a trigger. Got a horrific sinus/ear infection a few weeks after the last one which started a cycle of repeated ear infections.
Thanks for your response and good luck to you. Modern science is amazing but we really are even more in the hands of the pharmaceutical industry with vaccines.
Food allergy tests have no scientific basis. They are a waste of money. The only way to find out is through elimination and reintroduction. Advice here:
