AV node ablation
I’m looking at AVNode ablation option if cardioversion does not work which is scheduled for 2 weeks with loading on tykosyn in hospital. Could those of you who have had the node ablation or have information about it please share? I have been told I cannot continue being in tachycardia days after day

Change Bisoprolol Timing
Hi I had a cardiac ablation for Atrial Fibrillation almost 10 years ago which worked really well. However I have been having since April this year runs of SVT leading on to fast AF. I spent an overnight stay in hospital recently. Had to have Amniodorone IV to convert me back to sinus rhythm. I was

Ablation by the Numbers from Medtronic info - 8/29/2020
My ablation was the burning type and successful but here is latest info on Cryoblation ablation. Came across this reading and thought some might find the numbers interesting - FYI Medtronic Cryoablation Superior to Drug Therapy for Symptomatic Paroxysmal ESC Congress: New Research Highlights First-Line

Stage 1a triple negative breast cancer
I was diagnosed 1 1/2 years ago with stage 0 triple negative DCIS. I had a lumpectomy with sentinel lymph node removal. It turned out to be stage 1a triple negative breast cancer. The tumor was very tiny and my lymph nodes were clear. I also had 20 rounds of radiation treatment. My oncologist told me

Lymph node removal side effects
Hi ladies, I have just had some lymph nodes removed in my groin as there was a tumour, today i received hospital letter from surgeon listing many unpleasant risks of post operative surgury such as lymphocyst formation, secondary intention healing etc . My question is does this occur in week or two after

New Here - From Afib to now PE Second time around
Fit and pretty healthy 65 year old guy trying to figure out why I have now had my second PE 4 years apart. Keeping my Afib controlled without any meds after cardiac ablation 4 years ago but after second knee surgery months later I was admitted to Hospital for Bilateral Embolism and now on Eliquis blood

Catheter Ablation
So my amazing AF journey continues, today was released from hospital and was told i can have a catheter ablation although the waiting list is a few mths. Start anticoagulants tomorrow. Apparently my meds have basically lasted their course so ablation it is. I suppose excitement and terror are my emotions

Why do people have multiple ablations?
Before I had my ablation I was told that the success rate was 70%, so for 30% of people it didn't work at all or maybe it didn't work perfectly and they would need one or more procedures. Presumably that is because not all of the electrical signals were found but maybe not. Maybe it only worked for

Just finished radiotherapy but feel overwhelmed
Hi everyone This is my first post here and hoping for a little guidance/advice. I was diagnosed in May with grade 3, ER+ HER2- breast cancer. Lymph node removal showed no spread, so lumpectomy and radiotherapy, along with taking Tamoxifen (oncotype result 17, so no chemo). Haven't felt too bad physically

Ablate and Pace?
Now suggested I have a pacemaker and
ablation
of the
AV
node
. This is the last resort and I am really worried about the consequences of this procedure and whether it is beneficial to have it done, This is my first post by the way, sorry it is so long!

Feeling fatigue and lightheaded after ablation
I had a pulmonary vein catheter ablation 6 weeks ago and all was relatively well till about week 4. For the last 2 weeks I feel fatigue and lightheaded is this expected during healing? I do not feel any afib (my watch ecg also indicate i am in NSR), my pulse is elevated and spikes if I move/walk around

Wolf Parkinson White - should I have an ablation?
Hi I'm 41 and keen runner. Last year I had my first and only seizure while running. After lots of tests done for epilepsy all came back clear, although this does not rule out epilepsy it makes it unlikely (great). I have had cancer in the past and I am therefore extremely glad it wasn't that too. A

Migraine after catheter ablation
I had my ablation two weeks ago. I was ill the next morning, didn't feel like eating normally for four days and had an attack of migraine every single day for eleven days, some were worse than others. I thought it was just me and I ended up in A&E on the fifth day. I was given Sumatriptan tablets.

Post ablation palpitations?
Hello. I just had a cardiac ablation yesterday for SVT. They said I had 2 nodes and pathways and that they found the circuit and ablated it and considered it successful. Since getting home I’m getting almost constant flutters and palpitations. (Pre-procedure they were induced by running/jumping/swimming
