I had a cardiac ablation for Atrial Fibrillation almost 10 years ago which worked really well. However I have been having since April this year runs of SVT leading on to fast AF. I spent an overnight stay in hospital recently. Had to have Amniodorone IV to convert me back to sinus rhythm. I was commenced on Bisoprolol 1.25, a small dose as my usual baseline pulse is only around 60.I was told to take in the morning. I am however finding that every morning I wake up in AF. May I ask if anyone has a similar problem and I wonder be if there would be any benefit changing to my Bisoprolol at bedtime. This would also suit as I am on Thyroxine 75mcg for an under active thyroid and I try to take this medication away from all else. My pulse from starting Bisoprolol has been around 50-62 bpm. Thank you in advance.
