Can caffeine cause and episode with ET?
I do take an
aspirin
daily. On Sunday morning we were visiting with family and drinking a lot of coffee. I had a strange episode where my head felt pressure and I felt off balance. I had to go lay down. I went to work on Monday morning and I was sipping coffee all morning.

New research on NSAID's and inflammation
Most NSAIDs, with the exception of
aspirin
, dampen inflammation via the inhibition of cyclooxygenases, a family of pro-inflammatory enzymes. However, evidence from animal studies suggests that when these enzymes are inhibited, the body responds by producing more of the enzymes.

Grateful Newbie seeking clarity on Natural bypass of 100% total occluded RCA
My cardiologist recommended the lowest dose of
aspirin
every day, continuous power walks (3 miles each day), and a follow up in six months. I have had an echocardiogram that showed everything is ok. I don’t have diabetes.

My husband was diagnosed with MPN, ET in 2018 aged 59 and has taken daily Hydroxycarbamide and alternate day
aspirin
. Physically we have bumbled along with the odd excessive nose bleed, no major physical changes although he did suffer with his mental health but thats improving.

Getting an MPN specialist as advised by Hunter and experience of GasLighting
The haem. clinic kept telling me to stop the
aspirin
and would not listen that whenever I did stop I developed a bad migraine a week later (
aspirin
lasts this long in your system).

How do you communicate your condition?
I am told I am low risk, on low dose
aspirin
and blood panel every six months. Oh, my spleen enlarged a bit. So I considered myself lucky, but at the initial stage I was in shock. "I do have some sort of a cancer? what do I do?" So kept this info only to a small circle, only wife and few friends.

Spleen - normal size varies by height of the person
My treatment doesn't really change regardless as I have few symptoms and only take
aspirin
for now, but it is interesting to note for long-term treatment and prognosis. Interested to hear if others have similar experiences re: spleen size or contradictory information to what I stated above.

ENTRESTO 49/51 (+ Bisoprolol, Eplerenone, Aspirin, Simvastatin, Omeprazole, Dapagloflozin, Furosemide, Mexiletine).
My husband (79) has been on Entresto for nearly 2 years. Has no energy or strength and is tired most of the time with breathing problems after a very short walk in the garden. Hasn't seen cardiologist or had his EF checked since prescription issued. GP will not change any medication cos of heart problems

Aspirin the cat (a funny story from mom's work)
So mom is a pharmasist and she got too much
aspirin
and put some of it in a box and wrote "
Aspirin
". Her Boss took the box and used it for a cat's bed. Clients saw the cat in the box with written "
Aspirin
" thought it's the cat's name. So called the cat
