Aspirin

What I am wondering is if I am then down to aspirin as the only blood thinner (plus ezetimibe and atorvastatin long term but hopefully not much longer on bisoprolol and ramipril ) do I still need ppi? Has anyone swapped to enteric coated at that stage and dropped the ppi?

My GP changed my prescription from dispersible to Enteric-coated Gastro-resistant Aspirin to try to deal with morning queasiness, but there's no instructions from him or the dispensing pharmacy on the best time to take these.

Are there other meds other than omeprazole and lameprazole that protect rhe stomach against taking aspirin daily?

[/i] I was told to go on Prednisolone/IV Intralipids to inhibit the NK cells and low-dose aspirin to thin the blood. Is anyone else in the same situation? - if you are I would love to hear from you.

I had a heart attack in 2003 from which I’m fully recovered (thankfully) and though that’s 21 years ago I’m still taking medication……..amlodipine, aspirin, atorvastatin and ramipril.

I don't drink (QUIT July 2022 🎉), I don't take NSAID's or aspirin, I do vape and I am addicted to iced coffee. Maybe it's my stomach. Maybe I need an endoscopy. 😩 51 / Female / USA

Hi I wanted to know does anybody still get any palpitations whilst on Bisoprolol, aspirin and Atorvastatin? I only have a couple but it's every couple of days or so..I've been on these tablets for 4 months

I thought I just had a bad cough… I’d lost my voice and thrown up and felt shocking and my GP told me it was viral and to take aspirin. Two days later, I was blue-lighted to hospital with Flu, severe pneumonia, strep A and sepsis. I went into septic shock and was put into a coma for 9 days.

Stopped Amlipodine as don’t have high BP usual metformin aspirin and Omeprazole. Very difficult to archive solid erection has been getting worse for years. I think it’s the Finasteride. Sadly my brain still wants sex. At best I get an orgasm and fluid after 20 minutes no chance of penetration.

Then I started feeling off light headed etc… sat down with a cup of tea then boom … jaw ache went up the side of my face and my chest went into all sorts.. luckily husband came in rung 111 and had GTN and 4 aspirin.. ended up in hospital for 3 nights instead of a family birthday meal .. now got to explain

I am on aspirin 75mg, ramipril 1.25. Was 2.5 and reduced a while back as kidney amd muscle numbers were too high. Whatever that means.

My cardiologist put me on a statin and told me to take a low dose aspirin 81 mg every day. I was also advised to change my diet and get more cardio exercise.

I am looking for an alternative to aspirin and I’m already on enoxaprin sodium. just wanted to know if there’s anyone else in our group who might be taking both

He’s now home and recovering, aspirin & colchicine. Told to have a week off work and come back for bloods in 6 weeks. Our baby is 4 weeks old breastfed so I’m up literally most of the night plus my 18 month old still doesn’t sleep through and they wake each other crying.

I have just read that ginger is not good if you are on blood thinners and aspirin and am a bit worried as to whether I should be drinking it. Any thoughts ?

I have been prescribed Prednisolone (along with aspirin, omeprazole and cyclogest) but not Hydroxycholoroquine yet a friend who was under the same clinic was just put on Hydroxy….

Cardiologist prescribed statin and low dose Aspirin. Also, reassured me back then that the current blockages are not severe enough to be causing any chest pain. However, been having on/off days with annoying constant dull chest pain on the left side at rest. Not aggrevated by exertion.

If so, was the fact that you took aspirin and issue? I'm plucking up the courage to have my first (just a small one), but maybe it's not encouraged if you are on blood thinners? Thanks
