Hi All,
So far on my journey, some interesting developments;
I have scheduled intraovarian PRP (Platelet-rich plasma) and LLLT (Low-level laser therapy) to commence 100 days prior to my next round of IVF....... I was told the eggs renew every 100 days.
During analysis (which I had done at a different clinic) I found out through having NK, TH1/2 (Natural Killer, Thyroid) blood tests that my Natural Killer cells are at 35%, compared to the normal range of 2-11% in females. They also found I have a tendency to clot.
Natural Killer cells: A type of immune cell that has granules (small particles) with enzymes that can kill tumor cells or cells infected with a virus. A natural killer cell is a type of white blood cell. Also called NK cell and NK-LGL.
I was told to go on Prednisolone/IV Intralipids to inhibit the NK cells and low-dose aspirin to thin the blood.
Is anyone else in the same situation? - if you are I would love to hear from you.
PRP:
Interestingly, the PRP treatment I had on Monday saw an increase of follicles from 6 to 8, so after the 2nd one I am interested to know how they're looking now. Big problem; the Doc says PRP is only effective for a couple of months. (He knew my next round is in November!!!) Which means I am clamouring to go down the natural route and incorporate these intralipids.
My clinic has never mentioned NK cells before and don't test for it. There is so much I need to know. I feel like becoming a natural killer at this rate! It's all so frustrating.
Love and light to you all. Please share your experiences if you can.
