My First Ocrevus Treatment
It went pretty good today. I got there at 9:30 am and left at about 3 pm. I was hydrated so no problem with the needle. I didn't have any site reaction or any other reactions at all. It was almost as if they only gave me saline only for 4 1/2 hours. The worst part was having to sit in a recliner

Trying to cope with TN
I've had TN for 6 years now. Over this time I've taken Gabapentin, Amytriplin & Carbamenzapine. All have roughly the same side effects which are tiredness, foggy brain, unable to pronounce words, dizziness and a few more. Carbamenzapine is the only one that has helped me until April this year when I

Nasal Atomiser, Asthma Thought
As many will know, it’s believed around 80% of Asthma Exacerbations could be triggered by Rhinovirus (Nasal) Infections. Some folk will already be regularly using Nasal Flushing in the hope of reducing infections but, personally, I consider doing so a bit ‘too severe’, as our Noses already produce there

3D saline scan
Hi everyone, I’m preparing for the next round of IVF and my new clinic wants me to have 3D saline scan done. I’m booked for next Friday. If any of you had it done, would you please share your experience? Is it painful?

OCALIVA /Fibroscan Results
Last year my fibroscan result showed my fibrosis to be early stage. Now it is early stage 3 fibrosis. I m disappointed to say the least. Dr is not worried at this point. He said fibroscan results can fluctuate & it might be lower with next scan. He told me to not get depressed about this, especially

Crawling feeling on right side of my head
Sometimes I have this feeling that something is crawling under my skin on my head. Same spot and don’t know what triggers it. I have stage one PBC since 2011. I am on Urso and OCaliva. My itch and fatigue are in control but Since last year I got this creepy thing. Has anyone experienced this?

Any connection between dairy and itching?
Was reading a few of the itching posts. I wanted to share that i had added dairy into my diet in march, and my symptoms got worse - very itchy. I went off of it in June and the itching has gotten much better. This could all be in my head - or maybe it is indeed the dairy! Sharing in case this helps someone

Insufficient advice on diagnosis of permanent liver damage

Update:
Well, the Urso hasn’t worked like before, so my doctor has added Ocaliva to my list of medication. I started taking it once a day and had the itching side effect. So, instead of wanting to literally peel off the first layer of skin, I wanted to go deeper. It’s crazy, I know...so when I told my doctor

Cost of Ocaliva in the US.
Diagnosed last year with PBC. ALP was 755 and after a year on Urso only down to 540; been checked 3 times since diagnosis. Dr. is talking about adding Ocaliva. His words were "I don't want to bankrupt you but..." I have health insurance (medicare and supplemental insurance) but am still concerned

Little discouraged 😕
My dr was happy in January when ALP came down to 132. In April it was still 132. Today it is 139. I find it ironic that between January lab & April, I was put back on statin. So naturally I wonder if statin got in the way. All else remains good. My platelets are perfect so no worry there. I understand
