coccyx pain
hello, I’m having issues with coccyx pain and am wondering whether it’s another exciting (😒) symptom of FA. I’m still ambulatory so not a wheelchair user but am having the problem when sitting on an upright chair- so I’m avoiding doing that as much as I can but it’s not always possible. I bought a

Hi all I had my surgery on the 30th of March, where they found four bits of endo. I did have stomach pains in my first month, but then I had an infection. From the second month after my surgery, I had stomach pains again, although it was at a lower intensity and frequency. Over the last couple of

Tocilizumab in the UK
I thought it may be helpful to share my Rheumy appointment yesterday. I have GCA and PMR and due to various reasons cannot tolerate Steriods. Instead I am treated with Methotrexate and tocilizumab which I received for a year as in standard in the UK. I was worried about what would happen when year expired

sciatica and PD?
2 months ago after 2 10 hour train journeys I developed severe sciatic nerve pains down my right let and hip. these are making it very difficult/impossible to do my PD excercises. The GP only prescribes pain killers which don't really help. Web research seems to only suggest excercise stretching baby

Painful legs (burning sensation behind both knees)
Hi all Well, I’m hoping someone can provide a view on what is happening to me now! For the last couple of months I have had severe pain in the legs which has now started to become a burn behind my knees. It doesn’t improve or worsen on exercise and is particularly painful laying in bed. I used to

Back and leg pain
I also have osteo
arthritis
but the
pain
is more to do with muscles rather than joints. I have not been sleeping well and the pain has meant I cannot do my usual activities and it is really getting me down.

Late as usual: "Moonrise at Sunset"
For Off Topic Friday. I am trying more and more to express myself through my paintings, using this as a vehicle rather than groaning on to my wife. This is a mixed media painting of a sandy beach in south Wales. I am not sure how much of a backstory to give here, but . . . I have been

advice post lap
hi I’d be grateful for any advice on things you found useful post lap for endo excision. What kind of things did you wear after. I tend to wear tunics and leggings or tops and jeans but don’t know if they’ll feel too tight and uncomfortable. Did you find it easy to put on a top or was a button through

Help with "sick day rules"
Hello, It's been a while. I am struggling and need some dose guidance please. My normal dose is 10mg per day. I delivered Mark to hospital on Sunday for a planned Total Knee Replacement which took place on Monday morning. He's doing very well, no pain (typical of him lol) and he was discharged yesterday

A&E trip
I had to make a trip to A&E today because I’ve been bleeding consistently for 27 days with severe abdominal and back pains. I waited for four hours and came out with painkillers that I had to cry to be prescribed. I posted here last week asking for advice on what to do because I believe the Provera has
