Me again
Hi, here again. He's doing really well. He's out in the chair each day, still hoisted but he was trying to stand and they had to tell him no you're not strong enough yet. Monday he was in the chair when I got there and they didn't put him back to bed until I left. He was getting tired towards the end

Tapering
Just a quick question about tapering Prednisolone. I have had GCA since Aug 22. Have tapered down to 5mg but had the beginnings of a flare. My rheumatologist told me to go up to 7.5mg. The flare abated. I then got an infection/virus and on the advice of the rheumatology nurses increased to 10mg for a

I was diagnosed with scleroderma in 1998. I had been diagnosed with Raynauds before that and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Lucky me! My hands give me the most bother nowadays. Lots of pain and loss of dexterity. Does anyone have any tips to soften Calcinosis lumps? I have one on the inside of each thumb

I was diagnosed with non cranial Giant Cell Arteritis in September last year. So far I haven't managed to find anyone else with this condition because most people have the temporal version with the headaches.Mine is Aortitis which apparently is rare. I'd love to share experiences with someone else

Stopping Kevzara
I have had to stop my Sarilumab jabs, yet again, because my white cells have dropped again. I have been off the drug for over three weeks now and have heard nothing since my last blood test. I expected to feel gradually worse without it but I don't. I still have the pain and take my painkillers, but
