Last three days a complete washout exercise wise.
So, despite things generally moving fwd and progressing, I had a set back this week.My daughter who is a nurse, brought her work home with her ! In the shape of a d & v bug. She had 48 hrs off work (she's never sick !) but was in a hell of a state. A couple of days later, I start feeling rubbish. No

chronic pain
I’ve been suffering from longtime, unrelenting chronic pain for more than 30 years. The pain levels have become intolerable. No intervention or painkillers work. I have had major shoulder surgery two months ago which wasn’t a success. I now face having a total shoulder replacement. The pain is excruciating

Probably had fibro for over a decade, new diagnosis few months ago. Bitter/sweet diagnosis, I feel 'seen' in some aspect, having had blood tests etc for years without any suggestion of a reason for feeling widespread pain & low mood/energy. So to get a possible reason, was weirdly somewhat of a validation

Calcinosis
I was diagnosed with scleroderma in 1998. I had been diagnosed with Raynauds before that and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Lucky me! My hands give me the most bother nowadays. Lots of pain and loss of dexterity. Does anyone have any tips to soften Calcinosis lumps? I have one on the inside of each thumb

Painkiller for after Dental Procedure
So next week I’m going to my dental surgery to get three tooth implants. The first session is when they drill metal rods into the bone. Once the local anaesthetic wears off it’s very painful. I’ve had one done before now this time three at once!! Last time I didn’t know about my CKD so as I can’t take

bleeding coming of prostap
can anyone help…. so I stopped taking prostap in October (last injection end of October) and had no period yet but I did have some signs of ovulation! 2 weeks ago I got a positive pregnancy test but since then have done several tests and they have all been negative so I am assuming it’s a false positive

Osteopenia?
A chat with the doctor's nurse and the diagnosis of of osteopenia. Osteopenia is the first stage before osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is when you break bones by falling. I fall now and then but it's because of peroneal nerve entrapment. The peroneal nerve lifts my toes. Without its help I trip

ADHD and pain medication
I am on Adderall but need a pain medication from my chronic pain that doesn't interact with Adderall or my narcolepsy. In other words, I don't want a pain medicine that is too sedating.

Me again
Hi, here again. He's doing really well. He's out in the chair each day, still hoisted but he was trying to stand and they had to tell him no you're not strong enough yet. Monday he was in the chair when I got there and they didn't put him back to bed until I left. He was getting tired towards the end

Tapering
Just a quick question about tapering Prednisolone. I have had GCA since Aug 22. Have tapered down to 5mg but had the beginnings of a flare. My rheumatologist told me to go up to 7.5mg. The flare abated. I then got an infection/virus and on the advice of the rheumatology nurses increased to 10mg for a
