I’m not happy as I was under the impression that reactive arthritis

, works on T cells so infections won’t necessarily cause our bodies to turn against us. Used for type 2 diabetes, it works in the kidneys, so not for everyone, and can help with weight loss.

Feeling guilty and ashamed for using pain relief 😢
Currently on a 2 year waiting list for endometriosis removal and hysterectomy. Been dealing with this for over 12 years and I'm done. I work 50 hours plus a week and doing everything i can to keep afloat. After trying every pain medication under the sun, unfortunately the only kind that gives me relief

Question on PMR and Temporal Arteritis
Does anyone know: would an MRI show Temporal Arteritis or would a person need a biopsy to determine if Temporal Arteritis was present? Asking for a person newly diagnosed with PMR and in the ER dept was told she had Temporal Arteritis. Yesterday she went to the rheumatologist and was told she definitely

Becoming a grumpy old git !
Hi all, Just an enquiry .... one of my rare ones. It concerns a possible side effect of medication. In the last 6 months or so I have changed three precribed medication. I list these as below ....
Simvastatin
was started in mid 2007 and taken continuously until, my Surgery Pharmacist asked

PMR & Osteoarthritis in Knees
I have been added to the waiting list for knee replacement. I am trying to loose weight which I feel will help the pain in my knees. They can be very stiff some days and difficult to bend and I do get pain in the back of my thighs and shin splint pain too. I wonder if this is part of PMR ? I would hate

Migraine and trimethoprim
I recently suffered a urinary infection and GP prescribed trimethoprim. Three days into course I developed severe migraine with aura, feeling generally very unwell and increasing neck pain and stiffness. I persevered with tablets but migraine aura recurred every few hours and the pain was unbearable

the patch still not helping on month 2
I’m currently trying the birth control patch to see if it lessens my tummy pain. This is the second week of the second month and the 3rd week starts on Tuesday.
