Post SCT haematomachrosis
My now 6 monthly bloods done last year revealed high ferritin. I subsequently had 6 venesections, 1 a month. My follow up, delayed by COVID, revealed a still high ferritin at 2000, down from around 3000. The consultant was a bit surprised it was still that high. I was a bit disappointed and concerned

oh no ! Bilateral hip arthritis
for years I believed my pain was due to a back problem (facet joint arthritis) But I have just been diagnosed with bilateral moderate hip arthritis. I have literally visited the GP 15-20 times over the last 8 years and not once was my hips believed to be the problem. I finally had to ask for an X-ray

Hi, this is very random but I’ve been suffering from leg pain and weakness for a couple days now. My work involves standing all day and I’m usually exhausted every day but recently the last few days my legs have been killing. I’ve tried different pain killers and they only provide very small relief

High BP, meds don't work
I also have a vascular illness called Giant Cell
Arteritis
. In treatment for that for several years. On prednisone and a drug called Actemra, a monthly infusion. I missed my treatment last month of Actemra, and went without it.

after a year on the waiting list I am now under the care of living with pain team. I’ve seen a physio and occupational therapist. I feel listened too and understood and finally getting some help to manage fibromyalgia and arthritis pain . Would highly recommend others to seek this option

Additional illnesses
I have developed a very painful knee - this happened before and it was put down to bursitis. The knee was aspirated and it took me the best part of a year to be able to walk normally - but never for as far as I used to walk. This began just before PMR - I think after the first vaccine. I am now on
