QOL gone
Prostatectomy followed 8 months later with ADT and radiation. Mostly incontinent since. Always had overactive bladder before cancer. Urologist did cystoscope and said everything looked normal. Its been > 2 weeks and I am in constant misery. Bladder hurts and have strong feeling of needing to urinate

Confused about how all the different PCa drugs work?
This recent article (Oct 2023) has a nice high level diagram that organizes the more common prostate cancer drugs and their mechanism of action. Scroll down to Figure 1. I recently had more scans and unfortunately my cancer has spread to my lungs and more in my liver. My bone mets are not to bad but two active ones in my T2 and Right hip even though I had recently had radiotherapy on them again for palliative pain relief. Xeloda Anxiety
I was supposed to begin Xeloda today. For some reason, I am paranoid. First, I'm thinking my dose is too high. I weigh 168 pounds, 5’4” and my team has me scheduled to take 2000 mg twice a day. I think that’s a lot. Anyone else similar in size to me taking this high of a dose? Am I just paranoid. I

Hello, My husband had his first PSMA PET scan done today, and I am hoping someone who understands PSMA PET reports can help us interpret/understand the results as well as what to expect or ask for in terms of any further testing and/or treatment? My profile is updated with his history, but in a nutshell

NOT SURE
Hey all, I am new to this forum. I have had a lot of health issues over the last 4 years with my heart. During a PET scan of the heart the tests showed a "hot spot" on my ovary. The SUV is 3.9, the mass is on a 3.5cm ovarian cyst and is 1.5 cm soft tissue. I also had a CT back in 2020 that revealed

On treating micro-metastatic disease
I watched a video posted by PCRI recently on YouTube. In the video entitled "Treating micro-metastatic disease", Dr Mark Scholz mentioned that undergoing one year of ADT is sufficient post radiation. Thereafter just monitor the PSA for any rise, and use PSMA PET scan to locate any cancer and to radiate
