. * Tonsillectomy *
Appendectomy
* Tested positive for Epstein Barr antibodies... If you have any, all or less of the above I strongly recommend taking my findings seriously. When we take medication it always has a side-effect, no matter what it is...there is always sadly a downside.

Im new here
But after a recent
appendectomy
which was done via laparoscopy they found a few cysts some of which are on my ovaries. They have recently repeated all my ultra sounds and are now keeping an eye on them, repeating every three months.

Levothyroxine therapy and impaired clearance are the strongest contributors to small intestinal bacterial overgrowth
Any abdominal surgery, ileocecal resection, vagotomy or IgA-deficiency did not have any influence, and a history of
appendectomy
decreased the risk of SIBO. Multivariate analysis revealed gastric surgery, stenoses, medical immunosuppression and levothyroxine to be the strongest predictors.

OH NO!!! BROWN DISCHARGE?! BADLY NEED YOUR HELP
Hi so I had an
appendectomy
surgery last July 23 and I just had a sex with my boyfriend last August 9 or 10 which is my first sexual intercourse and August 18. He didn't release his sperm cell inside my uterus. So I'm kinda confident that I'm not pregnant.

IBS
I wasn't recovering from the
appendectomy
, so I went back to the doctor who then diagnosed me with IBS. I'm on Mebeverine 135mg three times a day. Nothing seems to be changing, I get abdominal pain, I'm always bloated, constipation.

Stomach issues - Thyroid?
I'm 27 years old and had a very nasty
appendectomy
when I was 13. For months prior I was vomitting everyday for more than 8 weeks. Since then I have suffered with, what I am told is acid reflux. I have been on Lansoperazole for more than 12 years on and off and use aniseed peptac daily.

CLL and appendectomy
I had an
appendectomy
on Friday, the symptoms of which appeared along with a very enlarged, fluid-filled lymph node. It was in the region of a hernia repair that was done last January, so that's what I thought it was at first. I didn't have typical inflamed appendix symptoms.

Pelvic Pain, PID, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Frequent Urination
A little background, I checked into the ER for bloating and stomach pain in 2013, to find out I needed an emergency
appendectomy
, after this procedure I feel as though I've never really gotten well.

Anyone diagnosed with Appendiceal cancer along with CLL?
Waiting on post-
appendectomy
pathology report. Pathologist thinks it's cancer, my surgeon doesn't. Just trying to have a plan in place should it prove to be a yes. I currently see Dr. Byrd at Ohio State for my CLL, on watch and wait.

Need advice please :-)
The gyni told me after my
appendectomy
that I had mild end, my left ovary was stuck to my bowel and a cyst had ruptured and I had it on my pelvic wall. Less than a month later at my baseline scan I had a 3.5cm endometrioma on my left side.

My hep c journey
Photos taken of liver during
appendectomy
revealed cirrhosis of whole surface of liver. High risk for liver/bile duct cancer. I continue taking herbal supplements & battle anemia constantly. About 5 yrs ago blood work showed no viral load & doc hoping my body built up its own immunity to the C.

Worried about Endometriosis or PCOS
My mum has endometriosis and went in for an emergency
appendectomy
when an endometrioma ruptured. Given the genetic link I am concerned this may be the issue but from what I have read I didn't think endometrioma cysts 'resolve' naturally?
