My dental experience
Thank you to all the replies I had about needing dental treatment. Well this morning I was very anxious shaking and generally not in a good place. But I can now say how wonderful my dentist made me feel. The room I went into had a do not enter sign on as it had been cleaned. I had to have an extraction

Needing dental treatment
I need dental treatment and I’m very nervous about going. The close proximity of someone looking in my mouth really makes me quite anxious. I have PMR & GCA. I’m currently in 9 mgs of pred. I really would appreciate some feedback on your thoughts.

Dental treatment
I am due to have 2 fillings next week but the prospect of having to lie almost flat is worrying me. This is because I feel dizzy when lying flat or turning over in bed. I thought it was because of my AF or BP. However, I read that it could be caused by an inner ear condition . I am OK when standing,

Dental Treatment on Venetoclax
I had a dental check up this morning as a back molar has crumbled - dentist will be able to do a filling. He also advised a scale and polish which I am more wary of as this can damage the gums leading to infection. He is fully aware of my CLL and medication and says he will be very gentle when near my

Dental question
I have to have two teeth extracted and have been told to stop Pred the day before and on the day of the treatment. I’m really confused with this instruction because I also had to have teeth extracted whilst I was on 30mg Pred and the same dentist told me not to change my dosage! Apart from wondering

Heart Failure effect Dental Infection and Extraction
I have had a tooth removed after my dentist diagnosed the toothache I had. I think I have read that invasive dental treatment effect heart failure, which I have stage 2/3 mitral regurgitation and aortic stenosis.

My poor mum
My poor mum has fallen flat on her face and knocked her front teeth out 😢 I assumed her treatment would be free as she is 78 but my brother thinks you have to pay. Someone said they had a dental implant and it was £2,500 and my mum needs two. It happened yesterday early evening so they can’t speak

Covid-19 treatment developed at Israeli research institute
The IIBR study on cell cultures demonstrated that
antiviral
treatment
using both drugs led to a significant reduction in the replication capacity of the coronavirus and to the destruction of the infected cell. This, in turn, prevents further cell damage following infection with SARS-CoV-2.

MELATONIN FOR COVID-19 / Part 1
The antioxidant effect of melatonin makes it a putative candidate drug to relieve patients’ clinical symptoms in
antiviral
treatment
, even though melatonin cannot eradicate or even curb the viral replication or transcription61,62.

Concerned about Dental Treatment - WPW Syndrome
Hi all, I hope everyone is safe and well during the current situation. Dental treatment
Is anyone else suffering from a rotten tooth while halfway through chemo? I would welcome any advice. I am surviving at the moment, trying to stay on Paracetamol with Ibuprofen and codeine for when necessary. The dentist says I must have swelling and a temperature before they will consider seeing me.
