Stopping anti coag before a biopsy and dental treatment

Hi has anyone had to have a liver biopsy and how long before did you have to stop your anti coag I'm on apixiban also for tooth extraction as I've had a run in with a hoover and loosened 4 teeth

You should be told by the hospital doing your biopsy when if at all to stop your anticoagulation. I presume that you have told them all your medical history? Regarding dental work you dentists should advise you. For me on warfarin he was happy to do whatever without me stopping.

I’m on Apixiban and had two teeth extracted last Wednesday. Told to stop Apixiban Tuesday and Wednesday morning

My cardiologist says 5 days. I take xarelto and 81mg aspirin daily. I live in US. I am sure every case is different. Here in Michigan you get a consultation each time. Slows down the works.
