Still feel abandoned and feel like giving up.
The ongoing saga of this ?Tamoxifen reaction. After 4 days of steroids and antihistamine, no improvement and not much response when phoned GP. Went to local A&E as emergency last night, doctor prescribed stronger antihistamine, said if no improvement go to GP in morning. I have been to emergency GP today

Feel low and abandoned after tamoxifen reaction
Hi all I appear to have a drug reaction to Tamoxifen. Took it for 4 days, felt sick and had diarrhoea and developed rash and florid skin. I saw my GP on Friday and stopped the drug,he said he would write to the oncologist. He thought it was some interaction with uv rays and the drug. Had to go back

Have to get up at 7 to be out by 10
It seems nowadays it takes about three hours from waking until I am able to go out. I take omprazole immediately I wake then cannot take any other tablets for 1 hour (I don't take it at night time because I like a couple of glasses of vino. :) I use my brycanil and wait 20 mins before I can

I will not be beaten!
I thought it had something to do with hayfever upsetting my asthma but after
antihistamines
from the doctor made no difference i accepted it was something else.

Topic of the Month: August - Insect Bites
We also received a few recommendations for
coping if you do get bitten
: - “My pharmacist told me to take
antihistamines
and use hydrocortisone cream. It took a couple of days for the itching to stop, but it did work.

Does anyone take methotrexate in two doses?
After five months on 20mg of methotrexate, I am finding my response is getting worse not better. I take it on monday evening, and when I first started I just had to 'rub out' Tuesday mornings. Now I feel wonky through Monday (presumably because my body has run out and needs more?) into Tuesday, and

Summer, Allergies, and RLS-how it affects us
The big problem is that most over the counter
antihistamines
contain one of two ingredients- diphenhydramine (commonly known as Benedryl and others) and pseudoephedrine. Both of these can literally dirve you up a wall, and make your RLS worse than you ever thought possible.

Does anyone have experience of a rash ( and some swelling) on their ankle?
My GP prescribed
antihistamines
and a menthol cream, but it has not improved at all, just spread a bit more. A week ago the ankle started swelling up and is now noticeably larger than the right one.
