Sore nose
Does anyone diagnosed with Sjogrens have issues with a sore nose? Not from blowing your nose too much, or as far as I know, from nasal dryness. The fleshy part of my nostril is sore and sometimes swollen. It is not always sore. My rheumy's assistant didn't seem to think too much of it after I told

Does a Malar Rash, muscle pain & tiredness make Lupus???
I had a severe drug reaction (very bad urticaria in both ankles - I used to suffer from sunlight induced urticaria every year until I accidentally 'cured' it with
antihistamines
) and was given Prednisolone, a 5 day course.

I have been back yet again to my dr who has simply given me dymista and some
antihistamines
. The spray is doing nothing and I get attacks of coughing throughout the day. I find it really getting me down. Sorry to say but it’s green stuff I’m coughing up. Any ideas please?

Asthma
Im glad Ive finally realised that its not an everyday thing to have to take two inhalers, strong
antihistamines
, nasal spray just to get through the day. Ive been trying to find a cause to raise money towards and I think Im going to choose Asthma UK!!

Hashimoto's and Antibiotics.
I recall reading something a while ago about people with Hashimito's having to be careful with
Antihistamines
and Antibiotics as they can cause flares. I may have also imagined this as my brain fog was at its height then!!.....

I do have allergies like hay fever (take prescribed

Not so natural remedy for thrush!
Hi Has anyone had success with a natural thrush remedy? Long story cut short, is that I am just about allergic to everything. Lots of different foods and lots of medicines. Have thrush and Canestan gave me hives. Steroids give me puffy lips. I have been scouring the net for solutions. Yogurt and honey

CLL and worsening allergy but poor immunity
Since my diagnosis like many others I have also had a significant worsening in my allergy symptoms so that I am now constantly in need of high dose
antihistamines
to stop myself scratching my skin off and that coupled with steroid nose spray and a saline rinse just about keeps my sinuses at bay...although

Snoring
I suffer from under active thyroid, asthma, maybe allergies for which I have recently started to take
antihistamines
which I thought may help! I am slim, keep myself fit and active and eat a healthy diet! I mentioned it to the nurse at my surgery a few years ago and she just laughed!

Is it a cold, flu, viral or bacterial infection?
Can anyone tell me how to determine if I have a cold, flu, viral or bacterial infection? I was around a guy who had an awful cough. He's treating it with an occasional cough drop and occasional shot of robatussin, and 2000 mg of vit c. It didn't put him to bed. He may also have some nasal congestion

Seronegative RA and a cold or upper respiratory infection
Does coming down with a cold or upper respiratory infection exeracerbate seronegative RA? Symptoms didn't seem to be too bad but I came down sick with stopped up nose, mucous in my chest, and extreme ache ALL over, and tiredness despite many hours of sleep. I'm taking guaiffenisen and an antihistamine

Gentle recovery run
The oil seed rape has finally mostly gone to seed, so I ran the local loop that I haven’t been able to manage for a while (even with the help of
antihistamines
!) No dogs for company again, but hopefully that won’t be for too much longer.
