Asthma stopped play

Well now I'm going to have to rearrange my week. This was supposed to be my short run outside.

Got up late (too many snooze buttons), but still in time to dog walk and run. Started getting a tight chest during the dog walk but no sneezing, but by the time I had fed the dogs it was obvious I wasn't going to be running outside.

Went downstairs to the basement did my warm up and started to run and it was clear to me that healthwise I shouldn't be running.

I've taken an antihistamine (probably fall asleep at my desk now) and will pick this up again tonight if I can.

The big red circle showing grass seed is my biggest spring allergy... : (

Sorry to hear it backintime. The weather in France in most places is supposed to break soon. Lots of cool breezes and rain to keep down the pollen. Good luck!!

Thanks, yes, I slept with my window cracked open because of the heat which probably didn't help but it's a difficult decision, The house needed some air to remove the heat from the day but it lets pollen in...ah well, I will work out my 3 runs somehow this week.

Really sorry to hear this. Must be very frustrating. Hoping that the weather shifts quickly.

Sorry to hear you struggling too. I’m not sensitive to pollen but I hear Vaseline around nostrils helps as a barrier. Also I sleep with Dyson air filter next to me which also acts as cooling fan.

I struggle with grass pollen which usually causes me to start coughing. I think being ready to adapt and be flexible with each run is absolutely necessary. It's ok to postpone a run. Just pick yourself up again and do what works for you. Baby steps.

Thanks, I know, I jist don't want to.lose my place in the programme (I don't mean get kicked out, just want to keep.pace with the group), one way or another I will get my runs in this week lol

The season is long this year though, are you finding that with the grass pollen ?
